There’s a secret message in Offshore Rig in the control room (where the first two bad guys are at the very start of the level, right in front of the plane). Enter photo mode in that room and look at the screen with the white and green letters and you will read something like: “We need the classic games remastered…All the voices have been heard!”

Respect for the use of modern controls. As a gamer who played the classic Tomb Raiders when they premiered on PlayStation, I'm completely lost in these controls. On the other hand, when it comes to classic controls, I feel like a fish in water 😊.
So, it's essentially the game I remember playing & falling in love with during Xmas 1997--only the textures are more solid, the lighting more stable & dynamic, the camera (with variable options) more responsive & the frame rate significantly higher. That seems like the perfect way to remaster this classic. Shame the company chose to virtue-signal about some insignificant things that actually offended no one... well, apart from maybe a few thin-skinned idiots... & generate negative pushback. Aside from that, not a foot wrong, this looks magnificent & they've done a stellar job. I'll happily buy a copy & enjoy it. Good video, too, btw!
The sunk ship was the craziest levels ever, incredible atmosphere and they forced you to start on the bottom of the ocean between sharks with limited air! Core was at top of his game.
Forgive me a question I play for PC at 03:58:29 but to jump that damn ravine, is there a button to accelerate, I've seen that jump of yours a thousand times and I did it perfectly but I can't get over it... maybe I'm stupid 🤣

That was the first time the tomb raider games started to look soo real and just incredible beautiful graphics! Yo, don't waste flares, just draw and randomly shoot the pistols😊 Also, the end villain can be killed more swiftly. Het in one of the pools and start harpooning! Fire can't touch Lara. I got 80% of its life and I could do more if I had been saving harpoons in the game.
😂😅 I miss the legendary "savayee" "ahh" and "ahhcougar" screams in this game lol. In the classic version this game used to hage a dedicated button for using flares which was R2. For the modern buttons do you really have to keep going to the menu to use them?

You just need to get used to tank controls. I was so bad at first. Still not perfect but I’m much better now. They also have the option for modern controls too

todays generation will never know that uncharted is just a copy and paste of these OG games and will come close to being as good as these are the OG tomb raider games are such classics nothing comes close to beating it i remember playing the first tomb raider demo on the ps1 demo discs you could get from pizza hut or the phone books cant remember which it was but it was one of my very first games i ever played as a kid on ps1 such good memories
Uncharted was way too cinematic heavy and the gameplay was always boring to me. They tried to copy Uncharted with the new Tomb Raiders and it's not as good to me. I like the simplicity of these, with the fewer cutscenes. And Lara was so badass in the first trilogy, how it should be. Oh yeah and I had Tomb Raider 3 on a Pizza Hut demo disc along with Metal Gear and Medievil. Actually I had all 3 Pizza Hut disc's, I think Tomb Raider 1 was too old to be on those. Must've been a different demo disc series.
I'm just going to pause right here at 2:54:52 to say that somewhere the notion that Tomb Raider is a horror game got put in my head, and this entire section of the game is _absolutely_ a horror game.

It's a bug, they're actually working on a patch to fix that and other issues, especially the camera and controls and any graphical bugs.
