Brilliant information on dementia. Treating people with respect and making sure they are included is key. My Mum lived with vascular dementia for 22 years. She was inspirational to me and my children. She passed a while ago now. But her strength and zest for life remain with me. While my heart broke many times I tried not to lose sight of who she was. Great advice from Angela.
Sounds so easy and simple the way Angela describes it. Those of us who are carers know the reality of this disease.
Good advice!
My Mum’s Mum so my granny had her diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and on the 5th December she passed away peacefully and us as a family she lived life to the full 😊❤
@lucymurphy8822 my nan(my dad's mum) had the same and she died 15th May 2011 at 82. I ended up moving into her bedroom
Where is Lorraine’s dress from?
She played as Sara Clifton aka Pat's Wife
My mum has vascular dementia, there is no medication for this howetever medication does exist to slow the progression of alzheimers
Which doesn't work for most unfortunately
