Thanks again for the install video.
I installed the Racer X Pitch mount a few days ago. That alone made substantial a difference in tactile feel.
Today I also installing the Racer X Short shift and bushings - OMG I now know what all fuss is about👍 (Since I was dismantling that area I also installed the Velossa intake at the same time -:)
One thing I noticed is that when using only the pitch mount caused me to mis-shift a few times. (weird - I know) But - after having installed the SS I haven't and know I will not be missing a shift going forward.

Yes, once you add these pieces it's easy to finally understand! 😍

@@jimsgaragetoys With the SS installed I found that I was shifting mainly with the Pinky & Ring Finger. So I decided to order a "LikeWise - The Ghost Shifter Knob". It is more of a 3.5" tall cylindrical knob.
      I'll let you know

@@TerryManitoba I'll have to look at that one. I've been looking at various shift knobs but so many are metal and I hate how they are cold in the winter and hot in the summer. And some of these are amazingly expensive at upwards of $200, for a shift knob? Yikes! So hard to know what would feel best too with all of the shapes.

@@TerryManitoba I took a look at that one, it looks nice in the all black look to me and they seem to have addressed the temperature issue since it's not metal. I've just never been a fan of the tall skinny knobs like that. Too bad you don't live near me so I could see how it feels.

@@jimsgaragetoys FYI - The Ghost shift knob has a Stainless Steel core with Delrin thermoplastic on the outside. It weights 233 g stock- circuit knob weighs 245 g.
When I get the Ghost I'll fire you a quick review.👍

You have the shortest/longest throws backwards. Least change is from the inside, most change is when it's outside.
    Also, a 5/8" is a workable substitute for a 16mm in a pinch.

To get the shortest throw they said it needs to be trimmed and I never trimmed it. Someday I'll p[lay with it but I like where it is now. It feels good.

Appreciate the videos, but shortest/longest setting is backwards. You really need a bench vice to get that nut tightened down properly. The longest setting is plenty!

The further you move the pin away from the original connection point, the shorter the throw will be. It is a simple lever. The closer you hold to the pivot, the less you move but the more force you have to apply. Looks like an easy install.

Really appreciate your videos. I did the duck bill along with the circuit edition wing yesterday. I have only seen your video with the duck bill spoiler. This one seems like an easy enough install. How short percentage wise do you think it made with the setting you used with install?

Thanks, I appreciate it. That's very cool! I would like to see the Duckbill with the CE wing. Have you posted a picture? I'm guessing the least improvement to be around 30-40% shorter. It feels a lot shorter.

Not that it's important, but it looks like you've done it to the most aggressive position by putting it all the way away from the red castle nut.

I'll have to play with it. I adjusted it per the directs that were provided but if they messed up it could be. Either way I do like the fell of it. It feels like a nice change and I would think that the most aggressive setting would be much more aggressive than it feels like.

@@jimsgaragetoys Perhaps so. You can get it about halfway without having to dremel the linkage (at least that's what I saw with mine). I noticed that before I dremeled it I was playing around with the shifts to see if I could feel it interfering and I definitely could. After I was done I went to remove it and noticed that it had backed itself off of the most aggressive setting. Once I dremeled it, I really tightened the crap out of it to make sure it would stay. It very well could have adjusted itself on yours if you haven't removed any material. It would be set at about halfway by doing this. Cheers

@@iamblamb501 Thanks for the info. I've never felt any interference but I'll have to take a look when I get a chance.
