I have tried a lot of different recipes trying to get a fluffy cake without an electric mixer but this is the first recipe I tried that gave me the result I have been looking for. I was so happy when the cake was ready that I danced like a baby. It tasted so amazing. I’m trying it again today. This is officially my go-to cake recipe. Thank you so much! ❤
Hi.Thanks for the amazing compliment.Baking soda cannot be replaced with lemon juice.though lemon juice triggers the affect of baking soda.In order for aeration we need to use baking soda or baking powder.
Mam after keeping it for 35 mins on low flame in gas oven, my cake was sticky. Initially it looked fluffy but after turning off the flames it got shrink, could you please tell me how many minutes i should keep it on low flame?

you can mix the dry ingredients, milk and oil into the egg yolk mixture first before combining with the egg whites.

Powdered sugar is always better as they dissolve fast..in case the sugar is not dissolved the cake will be sticky .hope this helps
