Whimsical yet regal; beautiful song! I love the way it begins calmly and subdued (like a normal afternoon summer tea party), then quickly intensifies and progresses without being overpowering or obnoxious. The instruments chosen are also excellent and fitting.

Yes we do get inspired by the graphic art for the most part. For the weekly magic piano pieces I tend to preform an improv to match the chosen piece of art. For the larger compositions such as this one we usually chosen a theme or idea when we start composing before choosing an image that fits this idea near the start of composition. This image will then influence the finished product.
