Pile 2: We both live as expats abroad and share the same small community... Breaking up was impossible with us both in the same place. He left me and it hurt so much. Now he's coming back and feeling very nervous about it. As for gaslighting, I don't think he's doing it on purpose, but he's definitely hurt me by saying I said things I didn't say. I do feel emotionally exhausted now, and like I can't give any more. We both still love each other but it didn't work out so we're trying to find a path for the break up that works if we're in the same small community. However, I don't think it can work if we still see eachother around... Definitely not....! It bothers me a lot that he's not moving away for good. I've not responded to his last email even though it triggered big tears and anxiety and pain in me. It feels like opening up to him again will drain and hurt me so much.

I resignated with pile three. Everytime i see that stine im drawn to it. it resignated with me very accurately.
