Fatui "not the bad guys" literally everyone tells us how Knave dangerous is, she even herself points out that her beeing us to nice is just a facade not to mention that we don't know what she was doing during Furina's trial etc. They are evil we just had same goal in Fontaine.
Yeah, literally everyone except all of the people who actually know her well and not just as coworkers who basically ALL hate each other (not trying to be rude, but you have to be reaching at this point to call her fully evil)
@@confusedfrog294 It's painfully obvious that the knave is two faced tho lol... like cmon its obvious foreshadowing. do you really think she'd just co-operate with us like that no problem? she very likely has a hidden agenda and motive. and she was way too absent during the fontaine quest even during the flood where we saw every single character except for her... it felt intentional and yeah she's not fully evil i think she's more of a gray character like childe and scara, the fatui as a whole probably aren't the true bad guys of the story, celestia is
@@confusedfrog294 Shes works fpr a group of people who EXPERIMENT on Children and some of them 100% came from the house Sooo. Shes not as grey as people think
I Honestly do think that Arlecchino cared about fontaine. she said she wanted to "protect her homeland," and this is backed up by winternight's lazzo, where she reprimands pulchinella and pantalone saying "they don't know how it feel to die in a foreign land," I feel like "homeland" is very important to arlecchino in the same way it's important to lyney and lynette. "Other than the house of the hearth, 'Fontaine' is our only home to return to," they said... or something like that
And Arle calling out Furiri obviously came from a place of passion. Either she has good acting skills or her motive actually related to saving Fontaine because she wanted to.
the attack of Arlechino on Furina is probably the most misunderstood event. the goal was not to kill Furina, and if it was, it would easily have been done. the goals were : -know if she had the gnosis -test her, her strength, her defence, ... -if she had the gnosis, may-be take it. as she had not the gnosis, kill her : pros : nothing. cons : cause chaos and even if she had the gnosis, kill her would have been an option, but there was also : take it by force without kill her, or wait for a better occasion (as exemple : still negotiate it).
Arlechinno is not only untrustworthy because she is associated with the Fatui, she has interests of her own like every Harbinger. Makes you wonder...what anterior motives could she have?? Even still hearing her described as a wolf in sheep's clothing makes her seem far more dangerous and cunning than the other Harbingers.
I was thinking something about, like, Arlecchino being pursued by the first Arlecchino Because she fooled the Fatui even if she handled the Gnosis, she used more of those resources to benefit the house of hearts Than what was truly needed And then deserted the Fatui after completing her agenda
Another thing I thought about is what The Captain (Il Capitano) said at Signoras funeral. He mentioned how her methods tarnished her honor which to me implied that she was reckless (well duh, she ran at the electro archon after losing a fight she thought she could win) but what I mean is how she is the "bad side" of the fatui while perhaps other harbingers represent a more "reasonable" side. Speaking of The Captain again,he know from Scaramouche and Childe that he his honorable and there really isn't anything bad to say about him and the fact we know we're meeting him in Natlan to me speaks that we might potentially join the fatuis side in Natlan with The Captains influence.
Almost no one noticed that there is a quest in fontaine where some weird cats & girl are hanging out on the beach.there they ask who fatui are,we have option to say wither “bad guys” or something more subtle
Yeah, It's really hard to trust Arlecchino completely, especially with that whole "maybe you can help me later" thing. I still think that's gonna backfire hard on Navia and the people of Poisson. That said, I do hope Hoyo will make her a bit more grey compared to someone like Dottore - if only because that would be an interesting development for a Harbinger and because her "soft side" is something we only know through other NPCs telling us (namely the children of the House, so not the best source).
1st of all i missed you rain😭 2ndly that ending was so smooth😭 3rd- I do think we will see father again and get an explanation about her real motives in helping the fontainians. (prolly an interlude quest. Pleasee i need father again asap😭)
We’ll probably gonna see her real self once the traveler saw Arlecchino in her real form. By real form I mean her monster form like Hillichurl based on her arms.
Working with Arlecchino during the Fontaine story quest has me wondering if the traveler will team up with Il Capitano in some way in Natlan. Considering how 'just' he is, the traveler may end up having somewhat similar views.
I think that at best their anti-heroes, though some are villains. There will probably be alliances of convenience at various times. It might also lead to infighting between the ones that are villains and the ones that are anti-heroes. I suspect that Childe will have his family caught in the middle if that's the case and go with the anti-hero side to protect them. That would also make it easier for his family to be protected by the Traveler.
So the twist is that first we hated them then near the end we find that we need them to work towards similar goal even if we didn’t agree on everything they did
I found this really uncanny...that how the gnosis will be utilised by Arlecchino since Lyney said she will use it before giving it to the Tsaritsa... Some few things that were little sus- 1. How did the house of hearth get the fourth(or you can say 1st) slate?? 2.Arlecchino's sudden arrival after Poisson disaster 3.Arlecchino disclosing ruins location without any thought or worry...
We legit cannot keep being antagonistic with the Fatui...literally Childe and Scara are playable, and Knave will be playable...there's no way we can be crossing blades for that to happen, besides,, Knave has her children and then like us it would make ZERO sense, besides her defecting from the Fatui, in order to make her playable. I think the Fatui will be the "enemy of my enemy is my friend" type of situation against Celestia, which will then befriend us to fight the Abyss or some alien freak monster like Skirk or her master or something. FFXIV kind of did this with Garlemald, Ascians, and eventually to fight the concept of Despair in Meteion.
I think it’s a bit black and white to call them holy or evil. The fatui are written in shades of grey, they *basically* want to save the world, the only thing that sets them apart from the heroes, however, is the way in which they do it. And all of the harbingers are different in this regard, Pantalone is a business man who values money over people, Dottore is a self important scientist who doesn’t care about anyone or anything except the results of his experiments, and I feel like Arlecchino will be a “necessary evil” kinda character. All of them have different principles and moral codes that they oblige by, and the reason they don’t interfere with one another is because they all have one goal, that is seemingly so important that even the difference between fire and water is irrelevant. On a side note however, their goal seems to be reviving the “old world” and we know that humans are not native to Teyvat so I wonder if that could have something to do with their disregard for human life. The only reservation I have regarding this, is the fact that a fair sum of the harbingers are humans, albeit immortal.
Even if they want to revive the third defender and put him on the throne. Traveler is literally the 4 th descender. He is the direct competitor to the throne. He can't stand and watch anyone else occupy that throne cuz they won't leave him alive, him being a threat to their authority
Off the top of my head maybe we will have to track down the pyro archon in the future, getting the gnosis will make them less powerfull so fatui and traveler could reunite
They are Anti-Heros, they don't have a big impact far the goal of the game (findind the abyss sibling) but they also aren't friendly to us so they are pretty much grey charaters
Now come back after 4.6 , i can say that many speculation on alec these days were wrong and suprizingly she is better than we thought. Of course she still do bad thing that can't be call good but it's more like a solder obeying command than she want to do that, contradict to dottore for example.
To me, it depends on the member. Calling the Fatui as a whole evil is very biased [MY OPINION] There are morally ambiguous ones like Scara and Childe, One’s forced into the system by unfortunate circumstances like Lyney, Lynette and Freminet. And ones who are pure evil like Dottore.
For me personally, on the topic of the Fatui being various shades of gray, whatever happens in Snezhnaya has to greatly out weight everything they've done so far. I get the harbingers mostly have their own agendas and their allegiance is mostly one of convenience, but Bronya or whoever the cryo archon is must have something grant up her sleeves. Can't exactly describe the fatui as more than morally gray when the minions up to the harbingers act like a virus infecting every other nation. Also, completely unrelated, but I wonder when we'll ever talk about what's in the "dark sea". Maybe the fatui are working towards that, or whatever, im not a theorist
Arlecchino, is not on either side, she’s not on our side or The Fatui, she’s her own side. She weighs the benefit on which sides she choose to stay in. So she would easily betray us or the Fatui
Don’t trust the knave, don’t trust the Fatui. The wolf in sheep’s clothing appears as the most rational. Although when the traveler makes their way to Scnezhnaya, it is logical to assume the House of the Hearth will be our entry point.

Also it remind me how in your 4.2 Furina analisys how you said that we were the villans - so at the end Fatui allied with bad guys
Yeah, literally everyone except all of the people who actually know her well and not just as coworkers who basically ALL hate each other (not trying to be rude, but you have to be reaching at this point to call her fully evil)

I don't know collei might have a different opinion.
We will unite because the true "enemy" is Celestia.
The story isn't that black and white
I don’t think Arlechinno tried to murder Furina at all. Paimons reaction to it proves this.

Sometimes you have to be the bad guy to do the right thing. Like commented and subscribed 👍
As long as her and Capitano is playable I’m good.

All I know is that Furina needs to be breed and loved
If she's going to be breeded it must be consensual
Neuvillette jumped out of the game to tell me this
Chile and Scara describe Arlecchino as not having a single sane bone in her body and anyone who saw this side of her didn’t live to tell the tale
