ONE WINGED ANGEL // Final Fantasy VII / Orchestral Arrangement Remix

This is an arrangement for full Orchestra of the infamous piece, One-Winged Angel from Final Fantasy VII - a celebration of the primary antagonist Sephiroth, one of the most famous bad guys in not just the Final Fantasy franchise, but in all of videogaming. The opening, reminiscent of Stravinsky's Rite of Spring, is a dissonant march towards the inevitable destiny Cloud has with this enigmatic character, which is hinted at and expanded upon throughout the entirety of the game, and becomes more and more apparent in this first instalment of the magnificent remake of one of the greatest and most recognisable Videogames ever made.
Video game music is becoming more and more popular. The rise of Videogame music concerts is in increasing demand. Electronic videogame soundtracks made as a remix or orchestral arrangement are fast growing and now amassing huge followings on RUclips. Iconic soundtracks like Super Mario, Final Fantasy and The Legend of Zelda are some of the most loved and listened to, especially when a musician takes a theme or track and arranges it for other instruments, turns it into an electronic remix or orchestrates it for a full orchestra, all with their own ideas in mind, giving the music a new lease of life, uplifting, relaxing, invigorating and entertaining the listeners, something you would hear on Classic FM. A soundtrack from a Videogame could be turned into a symphonic journey, a waltz, a medley or whatever the artist can create.
