All are SHADOW
THE SUBSTANCE IS CHRIST JESUS
I know that I don't fight alone🤒
I know that I don't fight alone
This is His promise
Yeah, this is my hope
No matter what it looks like
I don't fight alone
There's a cloud of witnesses
They cheer for me
The giants of the faith
The giants of the faith
They cheer for me
There's a Fathers love like I could never dream
So many reasons that I believe
So many reasons that I believe
I know that I don't fight alone
I know that I don't fight alone
This is His promise
Yeah, this is my hope
No matter what it looks like
I don't fight alone
06-12-2024 actually HE abides in me , AMEN
There are angel armies I have yet to see🎶🎶
I believe
There are prayers I've never heard surrounding me
There's a strength that's not my own when I am weak
So, I have no doubt that He stands with me
I have no doubt that he stands with me
Pride is the ruin of many a good man. Thankfully we have a perfect King who will never let sin rule over him.
Praise Yahweh the one true God. Revealed Triune as Father, Spirit, and Jesus the Son, each member fully God of which there is only one. 3 distinct Persons coexistant, coequal, and coeternal sharing 1 Divine Essence. Jesus lives and is God, Christ, King. Repent of your sin and believe in Him and be saved to eternal life!
Wow. Wow. Every word is true. But in Jesus, we can become kings and priests. I am reminded of Uzza, who had gone only six steps. Maybe this king had gone only six steps and was deceived into thinking he had more grace than he actually had. I need to read these passages. Renewal of the heart by receiving Jesus (previously, the Word,) gives us authority. Renewal of the soul by receiving the Father (he who raised up Jesus from the dead,) gives us power. Receiving the Holy Spirit gives us mighty works. To touch the throne of Christ, we need the grace of glory, the good part taught in the Gospel of John. After authority, power, and mighty works, there are "miracles." After Jesus is fully formed in us, there is one thing more. The Lord our God is One. When Peter passed on and came to his self outside the iron gate, something else had happened to Peter. When his "shadow" healed a man, something else was happening. I think when John's gospel has Jesus talking about "born again," It might mean the fully formed Christ within us being born of us. Jesus Christ, our hope of glory. David was a king, and he saw the risen Lord crowned King of Kings. David had the grace of glory. Otherwise, why would he say, "take not thy glory from me ?" How fortunate we are! Jesus has made faith so accessible. He puts the word in our hearts. Does he say somewhere let he who lacks faith, ask? (No, that is not what he said, but Mary of Bethany was asking for this grace when she sat at his feet. She would nt be denied, even though she was a woman. Faith is a grace! A gift!
no matter how strong a man or woman thinks they are,
ultimate and complete control is not in their hands,
or even in their jurisdiction,
for it is the Lord who does as He wills,
we are finite, He is infinite
we are weak, He is powerful.
we are dependent upon Him whether we know it or not.
Wonderfully expressed, amen!
Sadly - for the proud,
the Lord is more powerful than they
and has their number,
knows how to deal with them.
In this case the Lord was merciful to not kill him on the spot,
but perhaps while in isolation it gave him time to think and reflect on God
sorta like King Nebby in the 7 yr wilderness.
Whether this king came to repentance it is not known,
but it did get Isaiah going.
