From listening to records i just knew what to do
I mainly taught myself
And, you know, i did pretty well
Except there were a few mistakes
But um, that i made, uh
That i've just recently cleared up
And i'd like to just continue to be able to express myself
As best as i can with this instrument
And i feel like i have a lot of work to do
Still, i'm a student - of the drums
And i'm also a teacher of the drums too
What makes cancer tenacious?
The moon rules the fluids
Including the inner juices of human beings
That which assimilates and feeds the body
So the crab feeds his astral plane
Assimilating and distributing all he receives
Slowly, until it becomes apart of you
I fly to the strangest lands
And i would like to able to continue
To let what is inside of me
Which is, which comes from all the music that i hear
I would like for that to come out
And it's like, it's not really me that's coming

The drum programming at 2:46 is some of the best I've ever heard. So catchy
I agree that it is nice AF, but the best? In 2022? Try Venetian snares (especially the song 'Szamár Madár'), maybe you like it. It's something diffrent, i know, but it doesn't hurt to explore the world of music ;)
@@MasterzOfHardcore you can try to be pretentious as you want, I know technically there is better, Amon Tobin, Kid606, Afx, and Bonobo. Doesn't change my mind, the patterns at 2:46 are so tasteful. Amounts of chops and speed doesn't = the best, if that was the case than I'm a better drum programmer than DJ Shadow. Which I obviously do not believe. Also I make breakcore and Nu Jazz, don't try to impress me with "muh obscure and niche genres!" It's not as underground as you'd think

Like i said, i think the part at 2:46 is really nice too. In my head however, the song i referred to has a similar technical approach, hence i recommended Szamár Madár to you.
I myself play the drums for about 14 years now, and like to experiment with diffrent chops, diffrent speeds and so on. That you don't like the speed where Venetian Snares is at is a matter of taste, but if you don't like it you don't have to lecture me about music.
Sometimes i regret putting effort into a comment, but some people actually apriciate it so i'll keep on doing it for them.
