Also originally Crowley titled the Book of the Law as Liber L. He didn't switch it it to AL until Frater Achad hit the scene. Do What Thou Wilt does not mean "you do you" exactly. A bit more complicated than that. I won't speak on the A.'.A.'. but there's more to it than that. The Choronozon bit has more nuance as well, see Liber 418. I'm likely wasting my time writing all this, but for whatever it's worth.
I think the way to make make a Crowley movie would be to portray his magickal practices in a dualistic sense. Basically, to present the occultist notions in a light to make one question if the magick was real or an illusion to the point where the movie could have two completely different stories within the same story depending on the perspective of the observer.
What do you mean by illusion? Ceremonial magicians are not illusionists like a David Blaine. And most ceremonies are done by oneself or a small number of other magicians.

He wrote that rituals he performed sometimes required a human sacrifice, with the caviot that the sacrifice should be a willing victim. So he seems to have had absolutely no problem with killing someone as long as they were ok with it.
I doubt any, especially the child victims, were WILLING sacrifices. Crowley-ites tend to cherrypick his writings and ignore the specific instructions for sacrifice to demons. He wasn't exiled from multiple countries for being a saint..
