this concept is like challenge editor in that you need to solve a puzzle, and judging from just the first salvaged run (where im at so far), youll need some unorthodox thinking. pretty good stuff! more practical than the usual challenge editor videos in a way
I saw the title and I was almost in shock, because I immediately knew what this was going to be, and god damn this is a phenomenal idea for a video. I can't believe no one thought of this before now. I haven't even watched yet, but I feel like this is going to be a banger.
Please do more of this series!! This is super unique and fun and a breath of fresh air in terms of bloons content! It's like a mix of doing challenges and regular runs, taking the best aspects of both! Reminds me of chess puzzles in a way!
This is a great show case of an expert player vs a learning player (no insults towards those.) the ability to see the issue and work around with what you got
"Let me know if you enjoyed it" I'll have you know, this is even better than the average challenge videos (and those are bangers). Still prefer, personally, challenges that are like nearly impossible and take you hours, but if that's not doable, then this is the next best thing.
These set ups really remind me of the old days, I would place some random towers too instead of mainly focusing on 1 to 2 main attackers + supports. I used to be particularly infatuated with the Dark Knight, getting 2 to 4 2-0-3 Super Monkeys per run
Hey I watched some of your videos. I know you have bloons pfp but you don’t have any bloons content on your channel (that I could find). You mainly play roblox and playing bloons or doing this idea of saving runs.
This is a good idea, I think. It's always fun to see something other than the tried and tested; at this point BTD6 has pretty much been 'solved,' so there's not a whole lot to say about whether or not some boss or other can be beaten (the answer is yes.) But something like this forces a challenge in a way that feels more organic; it includes things which aren't so bad that they require a specific single setup to work, but things which are almost good enough and so give you a lot of space to get creative. It's also nice to see that subreddit in a not negative light. I have to admit, one of the things that turned me off the game a while back was the revolting attitude that some people had on various forums; there were a lot of people pretty viciously making fun of newer or more casual players for using ineffective strats, as though somehow someone else not being as good at the game was personally insulting. Hopefully something like this can serve as something helpful towards newer or less experienced players, rather than a mockery.
Definitely do more of this. It helps to get inside the mind of someone who knows btd6 inside and out. This video might actually help eith my own runs now!
It's 2am rn isab and i got too acustommed to sleeping while listening to your voice that i couldn't sleep whitout your videos for a while hope you never stop❤
I really loved the concept and it was super cool watching you problem solve something that might not be possible. Really unique to your other style of content and I definitely want more of this.
I love this video idea! There's been times where I've been stuck at round 98 or 99 with a scuffed defense and wished someone could tell me how to salvage my run, so seeing you salvage other players' runs is super satisfying.
This series might be really useful for a lot of people since they show the usual mistakes for chimp runs (like using non appropriate towers or placing a lot of them which won't be upgraded and won't perform good later) and options on how to overcome them. Also, it's basically just challenge editor but with pre placed towers if you think on it.
This was a lot of fun! I'd definitely love to see more. Sort of unrelated, I wish there was a way to have a pre-determined setup on Challenge editor so people could make challenges like this.
i have noticed from my own mistakes, that enbritlement often solves r98 problems cheaply, because it's good against moabs and grouped bloons. it has saved me a couple of times.
My chimps strategy is basically primary beatdown( crossbow master by round 55, inferno ring by round 80, 520 village by round 90 and an icicle impale by the end of it). I was able to black border almost all begginer maps with this strat
I imagine being able to place towers to create a challenge in the editor would be a fun concept and open greater possibilities. This is a great video to demonstrate that!
Ohh i think this can actually turn into something great for challenges as well, imagine making a "salvage" type challenge where you give instructions on where towers are placed. This can get really creative
honestly you should continue this as a viewer submission series. have fans show you runs their stuck on and give you all the info and you make videos showing how it can be done and helping
maybe it would be a useless feature outside of this context but a save and load function to share game save files between players would be really useful in BTD6 at times like this.
Reminds me of Legend of Total War disaster campaigns, where he gets the save file from viewers for 'doomed' campaigns or battles in a Total War game, and he gives tips/strategies to save the situation. You can def make a series out of this and even ask us the viewers for doomed runs in ur email.
Legend of Total War is a youtuber BTW. And he doesn't only give tips and strats he also actually plays the save file until the campaign/battle is saved, and resend it back to viewer.
Ooh, a BTD6 saviour _series_ would be quite interesting. Probably mostly sourced from genuine players on reddit and such, but it would be very cool to have some sort of way to craft these deliberately as a devilish new form of challenge on occasion.
If this continue Ninja Kiwi should make a feature where you can copy a code and other people could apply it into their game and they get your session, with round, towers, map, money, everything, where you are right now, so they can try it out too. Ofc it shouldn't count on leaderboards and medals, that would be unfair, but "Hey, try this one, see if you can do any" kinda thing, just like you did. The code should ofc change every round as your session just changed
I try to comment on these when I see them. My advice is normally you are either A) don't have a MIB, B) Going to wide and don't have enough Tier 5 towers, or C) they need more stuns and slows. Hope they helped those people xD
I imagine setting up these runs must be pretty awful, considering it's sometimes hard to guess crosspaths and when there are discounts you never know the order in which things were placed. Plus sometimes a tower being a pixel away makes all the difference, specially in a run as tight as that round 99 one.
Dark Castle is super easy if you can remove the trees as early as you can it was stressing me because that was probably the easiest solution because you get a couple seconds with no dps on every lane
If anything, this gives a good indication of how the average player's setup looks like - not pretty, but almost good enough to do the job!
Ok
apple
Pen is
i would not mind seeing more of this concept in the future, keep it up!
How did you manag to comment before the video was up? 😂
this would be a really fun series I think you should continue doing these every once in a while and try and salvage runs from fans
this concept is like challenge editor in that you need to solve a puzzle, and judging from just the first salvaged run (where im at so far), youll need some unorthodox thinking. pretty good stuff! more practical than the usual challenge editor videos in a way
This reminds me of LegendofTotalWar’s “saving disaster campaigns” where he tries to save a user submitted campaign that seems unwinnable.
This is similar to a series the RUclips bittersteel does for other games
I Agree!
hoi4 disaster saves
I actually really enjoy this idea, wouldn’t be opposed to having a few more videos like this!!!
me too
Most definitely
Same. And it also helps me in getting better too since i'd also lose most of my chimps runs to R99 and whatnot.
essentially hoi4 disaster save
I saw the title and I was almost in shock, because I immediately knew what this was going to be, and god damn this is a phenomenal idea for a video. I can't believe no one thought of this before now. I haven't even watched yet, but I feel like this is going to be a banger.
There’s some civ 6 players that do “disaster saves”. It’s pretty much the same thing.
The first sentence of your comment is precisely what I wanted to say!
@@commandergs1390 ahhh, was waiting for someone to bring up civ. Shame it was civ 6, the virgin opposition to chad civ 5
same with eu4 and hoi4
Challenge browser really needs the possibility to have pre-placed towers
I feel like would just draw some pp
@@htaymyint5143 would be epic (im 14)
LegendoftotalBTD6, saving your disaster runs.
The enemy army is pretty strong… Seems like an armored BFB doomstack with a couple of ZOMGs
Time for the most insane cav micro to draw agro from all the ranged units.
took the words right out of my mouth
The Sun Avatar is our strongest unit but if it can manage to let our army establish high hill advantage we might get a shot. A worthy sacrifice
Imma go watch him after this video now
Even if you don’t have knowledge about towers, placement is a very intuitive thing. It’s crazy how people still place things in horrible spots
I was genuinely on the edge of my seat for that 2nd setup. That was some insane work from ISAB.
"Let me know if you enjoyed it"

tbf batman is really fucking cool
Thank you ISAB for being our favorite Redditor.
It's 2 A.M. I just did a workout session and there's a new ISAB video. Perfect timing
Same but it's 8pm

Good job salvaging those runs, ISAB! Now please salvage my broken family life!
You gotta do more of this its really cool as a concept!!
Hey I watched some of your videos.
I know you have bloons pfp but you don’t have any bloons content on your channel (that I could find).
You mainly play roblox and playing bloons or doing this idea of saving runs.
Disaster saves are very common on other strategy game channels, I never thought about applying it to btd6! Very clever

Maybe with a relentless glue
Glaive lord
Perma spike
Shattering shells
Definitely do more of this. It helps to get inside the mind of someone who knows btd6 inside and out. This video might actually help eith my own runs now!
This is the content that no one asked for, but definitely needed. Would absolutely love more of this great content ISAB
This is a really fun video idea IMO, I wouldn't mind seeing more of these on the channel

I really loved the concept and it was super cool watching you problem solve something that might not be possible. Really unique to your other style of content and I definitely want more of this.
please do more of this, I think it would be a great spin on the usual custom challenges
I can't say I'd like to see this often, but as an occasional thing this was a blast.
I really like this format. Would love to see more of it
Devs really need to hurry up and add a 'puzzle' mode already. Or just add starting towers to the challenge maker already!
That concept is very interesting. I'd definitely like watching more of this type of thing.
0:23 wtf is that bomerang map
I’d assume a meme post
I love this video idea! There's been times where I've been stuck at round 98 or 99 with a scuffed defense and wished someone could tell me how to salvage my run, so seeing you salvage other players' runs is super satisfying.
This is one of the most creative ideas of seen for BTD 6 and obviously no series can work forever but I personally would love to see more of these
Great idea! Loved the vid:D
Hope u continue w this ^^
This was one of the most entertaining Bloons TD6 videos I have ever seen, Please continue to make more!!!
I love this idea ISAB! Great video, and keep 'em coming!

Let's just appreciate how ISAB always finishes for us❤❤❤
With so many asking the equivalent of "can we fix it?", you'd think there's a BTD6 version of "Bob the Builder"
I love this video and really hope you make more! This is such an entertaining way to learn what works and what doesn't!
> This banana is RAW!
> WHERE IS THE CROSSPATH SAUCE?
> There is a BLOON in the walk-in! At least somebody likes your defense!
I will absolutely let you know: i ADORE this! please for the love of god i want more of this!
i have noticed from my own mistakes, that enbritlement often solves r98 problems cheaply, because it's good against moabs and grouped bloons. it has saved me a couple of times.

In the rake run on the full screenshot they took you can’t see etienne’s perma ucav so they didn’t place them early enought
Ohh i think this can actually turn into something great for challenges as well, imagine making a "salvage" type challenge where you give instructions on where towers are placed. This can get really creative
this is an awesome concept. i see these posts a lot and can never think of a solution. so, seeing a good player tackle them is really interesting.
What a great video idea! And it was indeed really fun to watch! Please do more in the future
I like the idea. you could even have viewers make "Puzzles" for you by custom making a setup for you to try and salvage
You should ask your community on DC for chimps runs they gave up on. Would love to see a lot more of these!
Great idea for a series. It’s entertaining, and if you get to the posts early enough, it will help the OP. Win win.
9:30 I think the reason the run was so close, was because the the plane hit the fddts perfectly
Id love this as s series. Unique and really shows off different statedgies to save all the different runs
Might be the best videoconceot ive seen here in atleast a while, was great to watch
This is a really funny idea because imo those scenarios sometimes can be harder than those 1% challenges
honestly you should continue this as a viewer submission series. have fans show you runs their stuck on and give you all the info and you make videos showing how it can be done and helping
This type of video is really cool, these feel like a nice fresh type of puzzle compared to challenges
One of the best concepts, hoping this would continue and become a trend
PLEASE MAKE THIS A SERIES THIS WOULD BE SICK AND SO EDUCATIONAL TO HOW TOWER MECHANICS WORK🙏 ITS A NEED🖤
this would make an incredible series - i find this much more interesting than just hyperspecific overengineered challenge editor gameplay
On the last run you could've used storm of arrows for an easy round 76
Love seeing ISAB flex how good he is at this game from time to time
"Here are some runs I saw you peaseants attempt and fail, but don't worry, I will fix it" Gigachad move tbh
this is an epic video idea, I'm definitely gonna tune in to watch future episodes like this
maybe it would be a useless feature outside of this context but a save and load function to share game save files between players would be really useful in BTD6 at times like this.
This is a really cool video idea! Would love to see more of this
Super cool idea, would love to see more, hopefully we get a setup that stumps the great Isab
This was fun, better than normal challenges 👍
ksp the blunderbirds moment
Reminds me of Legend of Total War disaster campaigns, where he gets the save file from viewers for 'doomed' campaigns or battles in a Total War game, and he gives tips/strategies to save the situation. You can def make a series out of this and even ask us the viewers for doomed runs in ur email.
Legend of Total War is a youtuber BTW. And he doesn't only give tips and strats he also actually plays the save file until the campaign/battle is saved, and resend it back to viewer.
ISAB disaster saves? Amazing. Didn’t even know this was possible in BTD6, given how you can’t actually share saves in it.
Ooh, a BTD6 saviour _series_ would be quite interesting. Probably mostly sourced from genuine players on reddit and such, but it would be very cool to have some sort of way to craft these deliberately as a devilish new form of challenge on occasion.
This is basically a budget replacement for custom challenge rules which are not here yet so I'm all into it!
This is actually so cool helping out the community and free content
I really like this kind of video to be honest, it makes me feel not alone with all those goofy setups shown xd
LMAO
This is a super sick idea and id love to see more of it!
This is a banging idea please make more. Maybe start rating them on how hard they are?!?!
This is honestly one of your most entertaining videos I have seen.
I really like this concept! I think it'd be nice if it became a series of sorts in the long run (like the A-Z one)
18:40 ISAB missing the first strike timing like all of us. I guess it's a little hard to do with permaspike
If this continue Ninja Kiwi should make a feature where you can copy a code and other people could apply it into their game and they get your session, with round, towers, map, money, everything, where you are right now, so they can try it out too. This is a really cool concept for a new series!
10:09 ISAB really had to hit us with that far cry 3 reference

I try to comment on these when I see them. My advice is normally you are either A) don't have a MIB, B) Going to wide and don't have enough Tier 5 towers, or C) they need more stuns and slows. Hope they helped those people xD
This is actualy the most creative thing I've ever seen
Thats a really nice video Idea, hope we see more of it :)
very good concept for a video! looking forward for more ^^
I would love for this to become a series!
Wait this is such an awesome idea for a video! I'd love to see more!
Maybe mods would help get everything correct exactly? Although you did a really good job at having the same setup so!
I imagine setting up these runs must be pretty awful, considering it's sometimes hard to guess crosspaths and when there are discounts you never know the order in which things were placed. Plus sometimes a tower being a pixel away makes all the difference, specially in a run as tight as that round 99 one.
thank you isab for salvaging these runs
W idea just shows that even when you think you have tried it all there’s almost something that works
Thank you ISAB for salvaging our runs
This is an amazing concept/series btw.
I would definitely enjoy it if this became a series!
Dark Castle is super easy if you can remove the trees as early as you can it was stressing me because that was probably the easiest solution because you get a couple seconds with no dps on every lane
Very cool series. Would love it to stick around for a bit!
Great idea and video! I would watch more of these!
Definitely make this into a series, every once in a while if you also enjoy it
This is a really cool idea. I see these posts all the time on reddit.
