Thank you for this lovely pattern I’ve made the set for my 4 month old granddaughter and I adjusted the pattern to make some elf shoes for my 32 year old daughter who loves them.

If you ch 1 and then begin your DC's into the next st and work your last DC into the sl st space, it will prevent that gap at the end of each round.

You probably wont see this but, I love these elf booties , I went crazy looking for just this . I also bought a pattern on etsy and i couldnt do it . It was tooo hard for me to read. These are just perfect. I had to adjust some to fit me but they are perfect. Thanks for a great pattern.

Your videos are great, but on this one I wish you'd given the total number of DBL Crochets at the end of the rounds. I think that would be very helpful to new crocheters. Thanks & many blessing to you.

here is the pattern I wrote down I only changed the magic ring at the beginning to a chain 2
      ch 2
6 dc in 2nd ch from hook slip stitch together (8 for a bigger shoe)
rows 2-6 6 dc in each
      round 7
      ch 1
2 dc in 1st st then 1 in next repeat then sl st
      round 8
      ch 1
2 dc in 1st then 1 dc in next 2 repeat then sl st
      round 9
      ch 1
2 dc in 1st st the 1 dc in next 3 repeat then sl st
      round 10
      ch 1
2 dc in 1st st the 1 dc in next 4 repeat then sl st
      Round 11
      ch 1
2 dc in 1st st then 1 dc in the next 5 repeat then sl st
      round 12
      ch 1
1 dc in each st all the way around 21 in total sl st then fasten off
      round 13
find the middle of the shoe then count over 4 in 5th st join and ch 1
      then dc 13 stitches
      round 14-17
ch 1 & turn 1 dc in each 13 stitch (for bigger feet make more rows)
Fasten off with extra long string to close the shoe
close the shoe using the whipstitch
BORDERS (Use any colors you want)
starting somewhere close to the back sl st then chain 1
1 row of sc in each stitch (26 more or less)
then a row of 1/2 double crochet
then a row of slip stitches
with the borders I never fasten off I switch yarns a weird way by tying them together hope this helps

    • @goldzig8115
      @goldzig8115 7 лет назад

Doyle Metzinger all I get when I google woodprix is a bunch of hits saying woodprix is a scam? Doesn't look like it has anything to do with crocheting. I think the project is adorable, but I can't take the voice! If there is a written pattern somewhere, please share. Thanks.
