I was bitten by a Rottweiler when I was a little girl & I have been terrified of big dogs ever since!! Only in the last couple years I’ve become okay with big dogs & now they’re my favourite! 🥰 most of them are big softies!

We love a dog mum who advocates for her pupper! I have a roman nose bullterrier and I get the same reactions and yet he is the sweetest, most cuddly, most social thriving dog ever!

I totally understand the frustration around the comments and attitude towards Charlie. My boyfriend and I have a pittie and she’s the absolute sweetest dog, but people often make rude comments, cross the road, etc

Conagh, I've been having the same issue with my skin and I quickly solved the problem fixing the lack of the right dose of omega 3. I was taking supplements of omega 3 but not sufficient. In 4 days it solved the "Sahara desert" and eye's dryness. I'm now taking 1200mg of omega 3 everyday. Apparently it's the Omega 3 amount that's what you should be looking for in the nutrition facts of the label, not the amount of fish oil. Good luck 🤞🏻

We have an American staffy, she’s 14 years old but still thinks she’s a puppy and gets so excited by people wouldn’t hurt a fly but yes, she gets some funky looks. At least she’s a good potential burglar repellent as she jumps at the door and barks with excitement… not that they would know that 😂❤

I have a German shepherd/rotty mix and get the same comments all the time but she’s the sweetest thing on the planet! Totally feel your frustration and sadness when people treat her differently/comment on their “meanness” over nothing 😢 I’ve literally gotten the same “she’s gonna eat me” remarks too, it breaks my heart for her

I’m way more nervous around little yappy dogs. Big dogs I have no problems with, and have a rottie myself. Small little dogs, scare the crap out of me cause they’re the only ones that have ever shown any aggression towards me (I nearly had my ankles attacked by one once). All about how the owner trains the dog!! And rotties are just gentle giants, mine is a sook who gets scared when the door makes too loud of a sound when closing 😂
Owning an English Staffordshire bull terrior we experience the same thing, it's polarizing people either want to interact with him or they will cross the street to avoid him (though he is a VERY excitable dog & he looks / sounds intense when he's wanting to get to someone for a pat so I understand that 😅)
Think people just need to understand ALL dogs are capable of being dangerous or sweethearts

I have a German shepherd and a LOT of people are very scared of her. It’s hard to watch because she’s truly the sweetest angel, but only WE understand people being scared of her, she doesn’t know they are. So that makes me feel better.

I get these looks every time I take my dog for a walk. People will fully pick up their dogs and walk right around, I own a Red-Nosed Pitbull X Kelpie, and it makes me so mad that they judge her before they even know her. Honestly I've been around dogs all my life and I've never had a more gentler dog in my entire life. So I understand and wish people would atleast say hello or ask questions before judging her.

A lot of people think my dog is aggressive because I walk him with a mouth harness because he pulls. People think it's because he is aggressive and it's a muzzle 😂

I completely understand what your saying about people being scared of Charlie I have an English Staffy and he's just the most beautiful dog he is so well socialized he has never been in a fight and loves other doggy's but people always avoid us when I am walking him and I hate to say it but it's always the people with little toy breeds of dogs they aboid us like the plague and Harry doesn't even bark he just wags his tail at them it's so funny 😂🥰

Many of these "purebreds" come from irresponsible, backyard breeders and puppy farms and have painful medical conditions that often go untreated. Pain and anxiety are the two main causes of aggression in dogs.
