Great video Josh great information on how to install that can properly i have one but never put in on was never shore on the correct way 👍 Take care stay safe and God bless you always 🙋🏻♂️🇬🇧
Nice information is it ok to run catch can from tappet cover or is it better to replace valve cover to run from there and does catch can need be at same level or can it be above connection
Correct me if I’m wrong I’m new to this, but isn’t it bad to drain the catch can back into the engine block/pan? Doesn’t the can accumulate condensation inside, I know the factory valve cover vents to the turbo and back to the block as well but I was just wondering
10:17 I’m installing the same vibrant catch can on my 06 tomorrow. Only issue im having is I can’t find the drain hole in the block you ran yours to. Any help would be much appreciated. Love the content.
@horsetorquesdiesel what would be the benefit on running catch can than over a by pass unit? I’ve ran a by pass on my Cummins ISX and never had a catch can before. I was just curious.
On a 12 valve can you drain a catch can into the fuel pump location on the side of the block or would positive crank case pressure come out of there. Iv been thinking of doing that.
I recently read of someone testing that and not just pressure, tons of oil slung out because of how low that location is. I don't think there is a good place to return the fumes and oil that accumulate in a catch can back to the engine.
So ive got a question. I did the ccv delete on my 16' cummins and added a catch can off the ccv cover with a hose and have it vented to same spot u have yours. I did not get rid of the two tubes coming in on the drivers side. I keep getting this code P04DB. Please help with some advice.
So my question is if you have an 06-07 5.9 truck does the crank case ventilation need to be serviced? And if it does do you just change the whole valve cover? My 06 5.9 has 450,000 original miles, and the crankcase ventilation has never been serviced
Lol of course it will spiral out of control. We hp junkies cannot help ourselves, it is an addiction after all. I had my new 04 delivered one month ago, it was supposed to stay stock because my 05 is modded to hell. Can't leave those spare parts lying around from my 05s evolution, so... 10mm, DDP 150% overs, 64mm he351, it never ends. Just tell yourself it's for the channel growth, and don't count the receipts.
Can't find a valve cover anywhere with passenger ports, so I'm assuming this one you're using is custom? I'm wondering if there's a downside to just running one hose out of the backside into a catch can, with only one line out of the can to breath? vs two and two.. also, if one were to reuse the factory valve cover, would a single hose off the stock breather into a catch can with a hose out work just as well?
I purchased the same catch can with the 4 ports and have it drain to the block just like you but still get oil pushing out of the breather tubes. Any suggestions on how to prevent that?

Love the way that catch can looks! Good info on the different valve covers too!
Truck is really coming together!
The mega cab is really turning out nice, keep hammering
That's the plan!
Can I get the link for the fittings?
For the -8 and the -6 to push lock 90
All 6.7s have the ccv on top of the valve cover 👍👍

Tappet covers gonna push some oil valve cover is better
I already forgot, but do you still have the stock engine in the megacab? Nvm just had to finish watching the video lol. Looks amazing under the hood.

I have a D&J precision valve cover with that center oil breather do I need a catch can or not just run a hose off it. Thank u Tim

It’s the factory drain back from the VC on the stock line. Look above the ecm behind the cp3
@@horsetorquesdieselquestion. Why would you send that oil in the catch can back into the motor and not hold it in the catch can?
So this is what Jim from the office does off work?
I have the same catch can but my system is building crankcase pressure. How do I vent the 4 port system on a 96 12 valve?
spray the headlights with bug spray in the mean time

Just keeps the oil from spraying on the ground
I’m looking everywhere for a valve cover with the ports on the left side. Do you have a link or part number?
What transmission is being used in those that are pulling on dirt
Is the 05 still around?
No sold it 15 months ago
Do u know who sale front gear cover bolts in black. 2008 dodge ram diesel 6.7. Thank u Tim
Is there any way for you to drop a parts list?

I assume you're deleted. The code has to be programmed out by your tuner.
@Dalton ok I wasn't sure. I'll have to have that done then. Just thought id ask to make sure I didn't forget something.
Is your sensor unplugged?
@Horsetorques Diesel no it is not unplugged. Ill have to get that sensor delete on the tuner.
What size of a catch can is this? 1.5L or the 2L can? Thanks

Does it matter which line coming from the valve cover goes to like do they have to be in a specific hole
No doesn't matter

I would service it asap and no you can buy your ccv filter online or they hold them at local auto parts stores
@@kadenalbert7806 06-07 5.9 is non serviceable
where did you buy the catch can?
yeah

It's a d and j with his port blocked and ports added to the far side.
Just do a baffled driver side port
I call Spiderman undies ,👍 😂
Rev limiters are weak. Your valve springs should be the limit!! 😂
