I love this teaching because at 64 I still suffer rejection and try to please people. Always masking by brokenness and putting on this joyful face and trying who work, work, work in ministry. Doing whatever I can that will give me some sense of purpose. 😢

Praise God for the prayer that Pastor Chris prayed. When believers suffer from rejection, we cannot address the brokenness from a therapeutic approach. Jesus Christ is our Healer. Only He can heal the aftermath of brokenness, restore and make us whole. 25 years as a Behavioral Health Nurse taught me Christ created us and He must heal us. Amen.
God’s protection is never our rejection.

CeCe I grew up with two older sisters and eight brothers. You reminded me when you said seven brothers and two younger sisters instead. Better Together is so inspiring. It is so relatable.

I’m sooo glad that Havilah had/has such a great support system with her parents… pray that my strength will be faithful to God for my calling and being the wife/minister to my husband woman…
Wow....I have watched this twice tonight. The second time, I have taken notes. I am an Extrovert and now understand that people who have my type of personality are vulnerable to rejection. I have been fighting for a while what Holly Wagner testified about herself building walls. She is right, we can't do that, because God called us to people. I will admit that I am tired of this hurt and received the prayer that Christine prayed against the Spirit of Rejection. I will war until the very end of my life. I will fight not to become bitter! All of this and more in Jesus's name Amen.

I had a difficult childhood (emotionally,abused) as well as an adult I still struggle to control my emotions and scared of rejection. Its crazy 😔

I've been screaming that I am hurt, crying out, I can deal with rejection, but being violated, being misunderstood, being taken advantage etc.
Dear Sunny, life can throw at us the worst garbage. Actually I believe it’s the devil’s extreme plan to destroy every single human on this planet!!! All billions of us were made in God’s likeness and satan doesn’t care who he hurts or damages. Remember that verse, every time you experience anything, that says, “the battle isn’t against people, but the enemy, the devil!”
He’ll use whoever he can (and that includes us sometimes 😢)

thank you, especially for the prayer at the end. i think it hurts the most when you are rejected after/for obeying God’s instructions.i think i understand rejection happening if i am living in sin or being disobedient to God, but i am struggling with understanding the back to back rejection/seemingly backfiring after doing or saying what God TOLD me to say or do. 💔🥺 but we are here to obey & serve GOD- not please people. ✍🏽 it can be rough.

I think and tell myself and they don't even know you.

Any time your ready to love then you're vulnerable, you will feel the pain. You gotta be honest with what you feel and the love of God will minister to your heart.
Feeling something and allowing the feeling take control over you are 2 different things.
Praise God for this discussion; always needing to feel I belong. Home, family, friends and ministry.
Right on❣️ Focus on the Healer and healing, and not ruminating on the pain of rejection or offence. Easier said, sometimes, but doable. It’s really a choice, isn’t it❣️

This segment really opened my eyes. I am moving away from a church where I have experienced rejection. I have been praying for my handsome grandsons who were placed in the system at young age that they will grow into men if God.
