- When Jesus told His disciples and us about the future he built every word of it around one city on earth named Jerusalem (Matthew 24; Mark 13; Luke 21).
Jesus framed His words about the rest of the history of this planet by the sight of Jerusalem in all its earthly glory spread out in front of Him.
Jerusalem is the trigger that will set off the grand finale for planet Earth.
JERUSALEM is the Trigger
Twenty-six hundred years ago God foretold that the fate of the entire planet Earth would hinge upon one city.
The Fight for Jerusalem, and all the events leading up to that fight, is the spot in the news that you should keep your eyes riveted-if you want to know what God has planned for this world.
“No city has been coveted and fought over as much as Jerusalem, the City of Peace. Babylonians, Macedonians, Ptolemies, Seleucids, Romans, Byzantines, Persians, Arabs, Seljuks, Crusaders, Mongols, Mamelukes, Turks, British, and Jordanians are only some of the conquerors whose names have fluttered across the pages of its bloody and anguished past. Jerusalem is a sacred city - a city that has played a role in history out of all proportion to its economic importance or size!”
Here, briefly, are the periods In Jerusalem's fascinating history so far. Then we will look at what may soon be in the world’s headline news reports.
PERIOD-1: FIRST TEMPLE PERIOD FROM 1000 B.C.-586 B.C.
PERIOD-2: THE SECOND TEMPLE FROM 538 B.C. TO A.D. 70
PERIOD-3: GENTILE PERIOD FROM A.D. 70 TO 1948. Remember what Jesus said about these times in which we live, that He called the “times of the Gentiles”? Luke 21:24 (NKJV) And they will fall by the edge of the sword and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. What have these “times of the Gentiles” looked like? Let's take a tour of this Gentile period noting the different eras that span nineteen centuries.
1. The ROMAN PERIOD (AD 70 - 33) The Romans brought their own people to repopulate the city.
2. The BYZANTINE PERIOD (330 - 638) This is the period after Constantine.
3. The FIRST MUSLIM PERIOD (638 - 1099) Mohammed began the religion of Islam and conquered the city of Jerusalem with the sword.
4. The CRUSADER PERIOD (1099 - 1187) Pope Urban 2 issued a decree saying that anyone who was willing to go to the holy land to liberate it from the Muslims would be forgiven all sins, and if unable to go, the same benefits would extend to those who contributed financially to send a substitute
5. The LATER MUSLIM PERIOD (1187 - 1517) Once again, the Muslims dominated the land of Israel for four long centuries.
6. The TURKISH PERIOD (1517 - 1917) The Ottoman Turks defeated the Muslims, and Suleiman ruled from Constantinople over the Eastern wing of the Roman Empire. Under his reign, the present walls of the city of Jerusalem were built nearly four hundred years ago.
7. The BRITISH PERIOD (1917 - 1948) The British asked the United Nations to resolve the conflict surrounding the city and the land was given to the Jews in 1948. Jerusalem was divided up into four sectors - Jewish, Muslim, Christian, and Armenian.
8. Current period from A.D. 1948 to the Tribulation. But in the war of 1967, the city fell to Israeli hands and the territory all the way to the Jordan River (known as the West Bank) became a part of the Israeli state. Many people believe that this ended the domination of the Gentiles which Christ spoke about. 'Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled (Luke 21:24). This explains why some people think that Christ's return may be near.
PERIOD-4: TRIBULATION PERIOD JERUSALEM. The fourth period is still the future. The battle of Armageddon will spill over to Jerusalem.

So many believe that the nation of fleshly Israel, with its city of Jerusalem, is still God's people today, despite it having a history of rebellion against God, whose name is Jehovah.(see Isa 12:2, KJV), even murdering his "only-begotten Son", Jesus Christ.(Acts 5:30) Jerusalem became the city where Jehovah said that he would place his name because the temple was built "next door" to Mt. Zion, on Mt. Moriah, whereby both mounts became incorporated as Jerusalem, "the City of David".(2 Sam 5:7; Note: originally, the "City of David" was only the area around Mt. Zion, 2 Chron 5:2, but later seemingly incorporated all of Jerusalem with its temple, 2 Kings 14:20)
After the temple was completed and inaugurated in 1026 B.C.E., Jehovah told Solomon in a dream: "I have heard your prayer and your request for favor that you made before me. I have sanctified this house that you built by permanently putting my name there, and my eyes and my heart will always be there."
"And you, if you walk before me as your father David walked, with integrity of heart and with uprightness, by doing everything I have commanded you, and you obey my regulations and my judgments, then I will establish the throne of your kingdom over Israel forever, just as I promised your father David, saying, ‘There will never fail to be a man of your line sitting on the throne of Israel.’ "
"But if you and your sons turn away from following me and do not keep my commandments and my statutes that I have put before you, and you go and serve other gods and bow down to them, I will CUT ISRAEL OFF from the surface of the land that I have given to them, and the house (or temple) that I have sanctified for my name I will CAST OUT of my sight, and Israel will become an object of scorn and a cause for ridicule among all the peoples."
"And this house will become heaps of ruins. Everyone passing by it will stare in amazement and will whistle and say, ‘Why did Jehovah do that to this land and this house ?’ Then they will say, ‘It was because they abandoned Jehovah their God, who had brought their forefathers out of the land of Egypt, and they embraced other gods and bowed down to them and served them. That is why Jehovah brought all this calamity on them.’”(1 Kings 9:3-9)
What happened over the next 400 years ? The Israelites became all the more apostate (Eze 20:7-9 says that the Israelites were already "defiled" with their "disgusting idols" when they were being freed from Egyptian slavery in 1513 B.C.E., almost provoking Jehovah to destroy them then), for by the time of Isaiah in the middle of 8th century B.C.E., Isaiah 10 states: "What will you do on the day of reckoning, when destruction comes from afar ?"
"To whom will you flee for assistance, and where will you leave your wealth ?........I will send him (the Assyrian world power) against an apostate nation (the nation of Israel), against the people who infuriated me; I will command him to take much spoil and much plunder and to trample them like mud in the streets (slaughtering them, in this case, the ten tribe kingdom of Israel over the course of three exiles, about 759 B.C.E., 740 B.C.E. until they ceased to be a people in about 695/694 B.C.E. with the final exile under Esar-haddon, see Isa 7:8)."(Isa 10:3, 6)
Then move forward to about 612 B.C.E., whereby Ezekiel that is an exile in Babylon, is allowed to "see" what the Israelites are doing at the temple in Jerusalem by means of a vision: "Go in and see the evil, detestable things that they are doing here.”
"So I went in and looked, and I saw all sorts of images of creeping things and loathsome beasts and all the disgusting idols of the house of Israel; they were carved on the (temple) wall all around. And 70 of the elders of the house of Israel were standing before them, with Ja·az·a·niʹah the son of Shaʹphan (royal secretary during King Josiah's reign that was from 659-628 B.C.E.) standing among them........(and) they are saying, ‘Jehovah is not seeing us. Jehovah has left the land.’ "(Eze 8:9-12)
Now move down to the year 539/538 B.C.E., and Daniel is told what will happen to the Israelites or Jews not long after the Messiah dies on a stake in 33 C.E. (or some 37 years later), saying: "And after the 62 weeks (or middle of the 70th "week of years") Mes·siʹah will be cut off (on Nisan 14, 33 C.E.), with nothing for himself."
"And the people (the Roman army) of a leader who is coming (General Titus) will destroy the city and the holy place (from April 3-August 30, 70 C.E.). And its end will be by the flood (of the Roman armies). And until the end there will be war (and NO truce, though offered by Titus); what is decided upon is desolations (or total destruction)."(Dan 9:26)
Three days before Jesus was executed by the Jewish religious leaders (John 19:6, 15), while in the temple, he said the Pharisees, who represented the Jews as a nation: "Serpents, offspring of vipers (calling the Jewish leaders vipers, due to being vicious and murderous), how will you flee from the judgment of Ge·henʹna (or everlasting destruction) ?"(Matt 23:33)
Jesus now turns his attention to the "sacred city" of Jerusalem, saying: "Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the KILLER of the prophets and STONER of those sent to her-how often I wanted to gather your children together the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings ! But you did NOT want it. Look ! Your house (or the "sacred temple") is ABANDONED to you. For I say to you, you will by NO MEANS see me from now until you say (quoting Ps 118:26), ‘Blessed is the one who comes in Jehovah’s name !’”(Matt 23:37-39)
So, the nation of fleshly Israel with its "sacred" city of Jerusalem has been abandoned by Jehovah God (and replaced with a new nation with its "New Jerusalem", see Matt 21:42-44; Isa 66:5-10; Rev 3:12; 21:2) and is among the political nations to be destroyed at "the war of the great day of God the Almighty", called Armageddon.(Rev 16:14, 16)
It is at that time when the coalition of nations called "Gog of the land of Magog" attacks the new "nation" of spiritual "Israel" that is composed of 144,001 Jews and Gentiles (though only small number are alive at that time, called ' the remaining ones of the woman's offspring ' at Rev 12:17; Rom 11:11, 12; Gal 6:16; Rev 7:4), and all the realm of politics with its supporters, along with everyone else that is not a loyal servant of Jehovah, is annihilated by God's heavenly Kingdom.(Dan 2:44, 45; Eze 38:8-12, 18-23; Rev 19:11-21)
Jesus is coming soon.

I wish you would review Ezek 14:1-4. It seems in vs 4 God says He will look into a man's heart and reinforce what the man is feeling after the man has rejected the true word of God. If this is true it might explain why many false religions feel they are correct.
Titus didn't "decimate" Jerusalem, he "desolated" jt... if he had decimated it, 90°○\○ of it would have been left.

2- You can open any history book on earth and see who the crusaders are, that is not a serious question
3- ABSOLUTELY
4, 5 & 6 - Jesus is coming back for ALL His people who have been washed in the Blood of the Lamb, both Jew and Gentile

Are you really this unaware of the unbelievable persecution the Jews have faced just the last 1000 years alone? Every word of Duet 28:15-68 has been being fulfilled for 2600 years now. But the Bible did not end with Deuteronomy, centuries later God's prophet Ezekiel foretold of them returning to the land after ALL these curses and horrors had come upon them. You can't say you believe in Deuteronomy 28 but not Ezekiel 36-37. Both are Gods Word. He said all these terrible things would come upon them, but in the last days they would return to the Land as a people.

How do we get raptured before the great tribulation?
Andy Woods says this "falling away" is translated as something similar to rapture. Either way many of us are ready to die for what we believe.

Short answer is we don’t get beamed up to heaven before it. These so-called pastors are setting their flock up to be the ones who fall away. None of them are ready to endure any kind of real persecution or tough times. Dispensationalism is from the pit of hell.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18. For the Lord Himself will come down from Heaven, with a loud command, with the Voice of The Archangel and with the Trumpet Call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, We who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet The Lord in the Air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words. These Verses are telling about The Pre-Trib Rapture, going to The Wedding Supper of The Lamb. The 7 Year Tribulation is Jacob’s Trouble, for The Jews to Realize who The Messiah Really is, Jesus Christ. Then Jesus will Return with us to earth on the Mount of Olives after the 7 Year Tribulation to set up His Kingdom.

I like what he's preaching about and I believe it but this is not hours ago this is 10 years old. So be honest and put it in the proper perspective this is a 10 year old message on Israel. It's not current it's not something that is about to happen as he is preaching here because 10 years ago proves that it wasn't as urgent as he preached it. Your title is clickbait
It was 75 years ago. Jesus comes back after 80 years. There's no pre tribulation rapture
Obama was president when this teaching was originally presented (2009-2016ish). Israel's population now is over 9.5 million, but not all of them are Jewish. Would be helpful if DTBM would give date of teaching so viewer could have an accurate context.

The battle of Jerusalem is Armgeddon. Got nothing to do with Ezekiel 37 - 39.Ezekiel describes the gathering of Magog at the end after the millennium.
