The "Quisling" question was super random to me. It's derived from my home country of Norway where Vidkun Quisling was the prime minister during the nazi occupation. He was later executed for treason.

I was wondering that too but asking myself whether that was debatable. Also isn’t Navarre an independent country as well?

"There's a lot of people who tread water and go nowhere" is a perfect summary of something that has scared me my entire life. Also would love that passive company talk you mentioned at the end.

“I can’t imagine anything better then right now” can tell that you actually believe that and I am happy for you!

Hey guys.. I was involved with MMA and grappling for 10+ years. Because of life situations I transitioned into a very minimal involvement the last few years. Now I am involved with trying weightlifting and powerlifting.
Just wanted to drop a line and say, pursue your happiness. Once you learn how to get great at one thing, you know how to go about getting great at another thing. Training hard is universal.

I ruptured the tendon of my distal phalanx on my middle finger into a door a few years ago. The doctors ordered an Rx because sometimes a piece of bone comes off with it. With me it was cleanly torn off and I had it splinted 12 weeks. Aside from the loss of mobility for a week, I regained every function of it. Had no pain either! The advice they gave was that under no circumstance I should flex the finger during the healing

One thing people used to do in my climbing gym to rehab after a pulley injury was rice bucketing - putting your hand in a bucket full of rice and doing reps of opening and closing your palm. Not sure how helpful this would be for your particular injury, but it did offer some relief whenever I got an owie in my fingers. I got the impression it helped more than the little rubber bands for sure.

I don't know if this is just a me problem since I don't see anyone else bringing this up but is there any way you boys could turn the volume of these up a little? I always have to crank my volume to get you guys to regular volume and then get deafened by notifications as a result.

Just because you won't go to the UFC doesn't mean it's not useful to train BJJ. That's like saying all the folks in the comments doing weightlifting should stop cause there's no way they're going to get into the Olympics.
