Sure, this is correct solution! )))
You only can have easeer assembly, at last step, if you use ring with longest brass rods(put it in side rings holes), but generally - you solved this puzzle correct.
Thanks for this video, I enjoyed it very much! I Like your engineering way in solving.

There was a hint in de directions by stating nothing would fall off when shaken, was implying there should be parts not around the shaft in the solution. Also the name Cluster was suggesting there would be groups of items together. But all in all, a very challenging puzzle and well made!

  • @OceanBagel

The twist at the end of your solution was one of the first ideas I had, and I knew you were onto it as soon as I saw you link the two pieces together like that. But I really liked how there was more to it than just that one gimmick as it gives more options to think of and try out. Really neat puzzle!

I had it figured out as soon as it was taken apart to be honest its super easy to see the trick it's made to make you look at it in the wrong way and not see what's right in front of you.

Clever! It's so nice to see a puzzle that's not just a test of patience or dexterity, but a genuine enigma. A vital part of this one's appeal is that the nature of the solution is itself puzzling. That's a rare thing. Bravo!

Finally after all the years of watching I spotted the solution before Mr Puzzle.. As soon as it came apart I figured the solution had to be in the pins and holes otherwise there was no need for them to be there and then I saw it.. I must have looked like an idiot screaming at the laptop screen hang them out on the pins.. I don't ever expect to do this again so you can put on my tombstone "Just once he beat Mr Puzzle to the finish line, he can now rest in peace" ..

The puzzle relies on expectations. The puzzler thinks the main shaft must go through the holes, as they fit together. And so, due to expectations, the puzzler does not see that there is no requirement to meet expectations.

Great video and great to see you trying to real solve it in live video (other videos of other youtubers looks too false since they try the puzzle out of camera prior to record the video); it is a honor to see you really trying by first time the puzzles. 😊 ❤

l think l would take note of each piece as l disassembled it, choosing an A, B or C side, documenting each attribute, either raised, indented or hollow and marking the position w an A, B or C. still, an unusually made packing puzzle as it's more 3D than a flat frame.

I can understand you wanting to contact the constructor.
Because, I don't think you can shrink that diameter (and make it thin like the photo).
The photo on the right is just to make it seem impossible.
That's why the rules say "all parts must fit below the line," or something.
So, I can understand you calling, because I imagine it's going to be the same width (diameter) but short and stout .
On to the video now .
Good job, Mr Puzzle and puzzle Constructor(s) .

SOLUTION... Take the 2 ends off and open each end so that you have 4 parts with threads like a nut. thread on the threaded cap (nut) first on one side followed by the threaded ring (nut), tighten with pin rings. repeat on other side. untighten the center bolt witch is actually 2 bolts and a threaded spacer! extend center bolts with spacer. put back together... "VOILA" easy peasy. I solved this in 5 seconds or less just by watching a freezed frame. Everyone just has to see outside the box. Slow your thinking down. It also helps to dumb things down sometimes...

Honestly does not feel a right solution (even if saw in the comments the creator itself confirmed it is...)
in the instruction it says all pieces should be in a fixed state and not move. So to me it imply that for the "protruding" rings, where you have only 1 pin engaged they could still rotate... So at least there should be a solution with at least 2 pins engaged per parts to really say they are fixed...
Also... you have now 1 row of protruding rings. You could easily have more lines of protruding rings (at least two will surely fit), so you do not need to disassemble the top and bottom piece anymore...
