Hey Matt! I don’t know if u remember me. I’m one of the girls from camp at wolbi. U spoke for us. I’ve been Sharing your story with everyone I can around me. I’m the girl that gave you the mint and sat right behind you. I’ve read and re-read my notes from that week. And each time I seem to find something new in them. You’ve given me new hope for the gospel. Thank you!
Nothing can undo a senseless tragedy like this, but sometimes 1 tragedy can spark something powerful. Continue to honor Hort Kap's memory and family, Matt. You can't undo the past but you are helping to change the future. God bless you.
So deeply moving! And your letter should touch everyone's heart who reads it, & more importantly, the heart of Jesus, who is smiling down from heaven on you.
My little brother, 21 at the time, was killed but by a drunk driver as he walked home from a 7-11 across the street from his apartment. It's a life long, almost daily spot of gray disbelief that my brother is dead. I just don't get use to it, though it's been 20 years. I've never been angry at the lady who killed him. Just like me, she has to live with this the rest of her life. While I wish my brother were here, I don't want her to suffer all of her life and I don't want to live in anger.
"Decisions Determine Destiny" - my youth pastor preached a message entitled this after a girl in our youth group died on her 19th birthday from a car accident where she was driving over 100 mph and lost control of her vehicle. We don't know if she was intoxicated, they never told us, but the application for the message was who are your friends? To Christians, the Bible has much to say about drinking, and this is why. How can you think it's okay?
I love this so much We all make mistakes but we should be forgiven!!! Think about it sometimes that's why there is so much chaos in the world people won't get along and except others for who they are their beliefs, talents, character etc... Why do we not forgive people while really we need forgiveness from others? We never think about that do we?
Wow....... I at least admire this man for admitting his faults and doing something about it that's positive. Rare quality this day and age. I found this video overwhelmingly powerful. Even made me shed a couple tears. None of us are perfect, but forgiveness is so hard in a case like this. To see the victim's oldest son forgive was amazing. God bless them all.
There are no words that come in mind after that... I hope that this story will have some effect on ppl allthoug, sadly as so many storyes before, this one wont change how so many ppl make the wrong decision but i hope that it will!... As so many before this comment have said... Keep going strong and alltoug it might sounds wrong or weird, Im sorry for you buddy... this is a heavy thing to bear on your heart! Keep on spreading your story!
And God forgives us for what we've done and what we are doing everyday like I know He forgave this man because He cared enough to pay our price and take our place.

He went to my school yesterday I decided to search him up

He came to my school the other day
Take the background music off so we can hear him
No matte what's going throw your life God is by you side
He went to my school today
And God forgives us for what we've done and what we are doing everyday like I know He forgave this man because He cared enough to pay our price and take our place.

i agree about reckless drinking, BUT Jesus' first miracle was turning water into wine after a party ran out...
