True. Probably they are new, then he weathers them so they look old and destroyed like shit. Then he reweathers and restores them (improves on them). Trully a master :)).
For me its impressive that he can do all that work with those gloves on which dont look like a tight fit. More like you cant even grab a tiny thing and most times look like they get in the way to see things.

Lucious Fox didnt exist as the creator of those vehicles as this is the superior 1989 Batman, wasnt needed as Bruce created all his own gadgets and vehicles ;)

Im more interested in watching this channels "grime it up" step that makes the clean up just that much more spectacular. (GW textures Martian Stonehearth and Stirland Mire would approve)
why would you paint the headlights AFTER they're installed??? This channel is actually meta, he's actually better at weathering the model than restoring it...though all his weathering jobs look exactly the same, with one of the tires half off.
You must be super lucky to always find a straight body that just needs the “rust” scraped off and the tires put on the rims correctly with no missing pieces
You know you've gotten old when a toy you had in childhood looks like a relic of the Civil War. Got this and the Batwing for Christmas 1989. Perks of having a cool Uncle with a good paying job.
I'm always amazed at the extreme amount of rust at the beginning and the fact that the metal has zero pitting.... All these restoration channels are so lucky to find these things.... 🙄
@@kyronnewbury agree with you in this and other cases, but not all channels are the same; Paul Restorer, Marty's Matchbox Makeovers or Veradona Restorations are preeetty decent restorers, they fill holes pretty often 😉

He’s said himself that his dad had these classic toys and collectibles stored away in the attic. As for how he restores these things, it all comes down to really how much knowledge he has on materials and how they react to certain chemicals. Just like How a certified AC tradesman can work on baler machines despite being different machines because in the end, they are all the same parts, just used in different mechanisms.

Maybe I'm a bit too sekeptical (relates to my job I'm afraid), but in all the videos I watched the cars seem to have the same producer (regarding nearly identical parts and assembling) and the cars are aged the same way. That's a bit suspicious. On the other hand it can well be that the cars are all from the same source. But hey all still look identically aged and i the same condition (just compare the thumbnails of the videos). Nevertheless, the restoration is a great job, the results are excellent. Great craftmanship.

Then he “ restores them “ adds some extra detail like bits of model paint on dashboard/ interiors/ stickers and just basically ads to the whole thing. Every thumbnail is similar, bent over wheel, rusty looking body , lights all banged up . If they were as bad as they look in thumb nail there would be stuff missing , broken , unfixable. It’s a ruse . But it also kind of relaxes me as well as some Asmr or is it amsr not sure but that thing.
