When buying one you can search through all of the pictures and hopefully they show the tags from the Barstow depot rebuild. Those are the best one to get
I used to live out there. We only had the quick shop by the post office and the elementary school. Then it was a major upgrade when I moved to barstow. Now it’s been years since I been to that side of the country. Lol I resurrected my armasafe batteries. I think they expired in 2012 but still running strong.
Hello. I'm thinking of getting one. You got yours already then. How did everything go? How will you use it? I am in riverside. Woodcrest area. Not to far from you
@gustavolandazuri4302 I am still waiting for my EUC (End User Certificate) it should be completed soon, I hope. It can take 2 months plus depending on how fast or slow the Government is currently. I am familiar with Woodcrest. I will start with restoring it, using it for my channel. I will be working on licensing, CA won’t license it so I’ll have to do it in another state.
Eddie world, it’s a huge candy store but they also have fresh food, really good all fresh ingredients. The Humvee just squeezes between the wheel wells. I had an older, I think M998, on there that had different wheels or studs that wouldn’t fi, but the last few I’ve hauled squeezed in real tight.
I registered mine in Utah because the scumbags in Ca won’t let us. The early ones were able to get plates, but they have stopped that now. I do know a guy who knows someone at a DMV and he somehow got his registered, if you want to register in Utah I can give you the info for the company that does it.
The only way to get plates on one in Calif. is if you have a friend at the DMV. They haven’t been registering them for a long time but if it is already registered they will continue to renew it. The best way is to find one that is already registered here. You can also register it out of state through dirtlegal.com but you run the chance of a CHP catching you. But I can help you pick out a good one if you want.
In Calif it is around 8.75% but if you are in a different state that charges sales tax, I believe they will let you pay your states sales tax. They also sell these in Georgia if that is closer. GovPlanet also charges a buyer’s premium (fee) which varies per auction, it is listed on the web page for each auction
Thanks for picking up the humvee for me, interesting to see the process.
I should be getting started on it in a couple weeks. It runs good, it actually had new batteries in it when I picked it up
That’s so cool to find a rebuilt one

I picked my m1123 in Yermo in 2022. Mine was also reconditioned. The military painted, or maybe CARC, all the info on the passenger side of the hood.

@gustavolandazuri4302 before you buy one look very closely at all of the pictures on the auction site.
@@RasmussenEquipment registered mine in South Dakota 👍
Give me a heads up next time you head out there I would like to tag along especially for one of those burgers 😉
I’ll get ahold of you next time.
😎👌good videos
I’m considering painting my humvee pink.
Whats the name of burger place?. Can the humvee climb over those fenders? Will it bend them?

In which state is this parking lot? Please tell me the exact location 🙏🏻
Yermo, Ca, just outside of Barstow.
How much you pay for the Humvee and can you just go and buy there or it has to be in the website and you have to bid?
You have to make an account on GovPlanet.com and bid on the vehicle that you want to buy.
How do you get it titled in California?

Can I get the info for the guy that does the registration in Utah?
Register it in South Dakota....that's the ticket!
I tried that but they registered it as a motorcycle so I had to go to Utah to get it registered as a Humvee again
Can you help me secure one of these and make it street-legal for CA?

How much cost you?
This one was around $14,000 plus tax and auction fees
