Haha you are welcome to larnaca district … it’s absolute hell for fisherman here the sea from the shore is basically wet desert … no fish whatsoever

@@TheShoreHunter unfortunately yes but that doesn’t mean we give up you know ….
One of the issues is that I've been told by a Cypriot mate of ours that lives out there. Is that everything has been affected by years of over fishing. Even in the mountain regions & forests the bird life is quiet, as they shoot / net so many birds that a lot of species are in desperate decline.
Shotgun cartridges litter a lot of the forested areas I've walked through, & Wood pigeons that we have here in their millions are quite short on the ground out there but are highly prized. Believe it or not I was asked if I could bring some over once & rabbits, as the meat fetches a lot of money out there.
@@user-nl7vz4wt3t yes catch and release is not well known term here … they even keep small fish as 3-5 cm so called (kourkouna) or whatever they call it … imagine that 😃
