Hello from Nebraska USA! The Cornhusker State. Thank you Igor for this video! What an impressive girl! I was more impressed when she started expressing her Faith and desires for her life. God Bless her. AND you and your Russian people.
I love the cold. I had a good friend years ago in grade school and he and his family were from Russia. Ivan Saban. I remember his family were so generous and just great people. I'd love to live there myself. 😊
I was surprised that she responded saying Russians are less open at first, maybe due to having been in the US last at 17 years old. I can't think of a time when in Russia this time for 24 years, where people were not friendlier and more sincere than in the US, where people are divided into a thousand factions and everyone hates the other 999 factions, and if your express a view others disagree with you are not only wrong but the enemy. Here in Russia the most response would get if they believed in something different might be "oh, I never thought of it that way" ...no argument or hostility or anger, everyone gets along regardless of religion, politics, social group, race, income, so everyone is treated warmly and with respect. If she travels to any other area or express a different view when in the US she will find why people are so careful to avoid strangers. As a man, being screamed at for holding a door open for holding a door open for an unknown woman teaches him quickly to be more reserved to prevent triggering a hostile reaction, particularly once they understand that statistically every 3rd person is carrying a loaded handgun. It was not like that 30 years ago but is now. Russia is much more friendly and social, and MUCH safer. Generally Russians are much more cultured and broadly educated so an engineer will also know history or opera. In the US education is focused on a career specialty so an accountant is not usually aware of cultures or history. The result is that a lot of people make bad decisions based on feelings instead of knowledge so politicians can make harmful decisions and the people will support or oppose it based on simply which party they are aligned with and media/government always lies and the people do not know it. For example it is normal for politicians to lie and media to push dishonest views knowing not one knows. The government is much more honest here in Russia and the result is constantly improving quality of life since 2000. In the US quality of life only declines in time but they redefine quality of life so only mean gross income which has almost no connection to quality of life.
Hey! It’s not less open, it’s more about “fake open” in US/Europe. For example, when you meet someone on the street, you have a conversation about “Hey, how are you?” - “Great, all are very good, thank you, and you?” - “O, thanks, dude, i’m very good too” - and this conversation not have a real facts about both you now. Just you both NEED to say it, it’s a rules of westerners society. And with wide smile, sure. In Russia we don’t need say a “necessary meaningless all is good” phrases. we can answer right away I'm not doing well, or say I don't want to talk about it. We don't have a rule of polite friendliness. We are emotionally honest. Therefore, we may not smile or be happy to talk to a stranger. It’s not a less open. This is no less openness, this is honesty, i can say.

Interesting how she said American kids grow up faster, that point about leaving the house or going to work is true, but in Russia kids are much more independent from super young age, they navigate the city, public transportation, go to school, food shopping from young age on their own without parents, where as in America parents take them everywhere and do food shopping..., but it is true that Russian kids stay in a family longer.
Good Question, when i watch movies amd videos, i’d be like “Wait a minute, this video wasnt shot yesterday!?” But then I remember that video wasnt called “American Girl Compares russia and usa yesterday in moscow” 😂 This was filmed late winter this year
When was this video recorded? Right now we are in Winter, but I see snow in your video which has just been recommended today ?? So I guess it is old footage. The most frustrating part is that we aren't open about how 3rd world immigration has made Europe and America unsafe. Russia is a majority white country, of course it's safe. Its just like America was in the 1950s.

Los Angeles population is 4 million. Los Angeles is a big city. The population of Tallahassee is less than 200 thousand people. Tallahassee - so you can say that Tallahassee is not a small town, for example. Since the population there is more than 100 thousand people. 🤔🤔
Coming from Finland I understand the statement of dirty and broken. For example Saint P city center has lot of beautiful houses but they look like slowly falling apart and no one fixing the facade. Also moving further away from any city center the buildings and houses get more poor and broken, no one cutting the grass and taking care of how things are in general. But over all I really enjoy Russian atmoshpere, I feel its more relaxed and I love the people and the culture. I'm looking forward to travel there again this year.
Me having propably filmed and explored the most the cities districts, its not true...even with historical buildings, there are of course situations like that. then theres neww districts...russia builds in bug cities basically a neighbourhood whih would ba auomatically the size of the top 3-10 ciies population wise.. these are great places...i show them on my channel

Well added!
Not in my case 😅

It's +30 in Moscow now. Where did this winter video come from?🤣
Good Question, when i watch movies amd videos, i’d be like “Wait a minute, this video wasnt shot yesterday!?” But then I remember that video wasnt called “American Girl Compares russia and usa yesterday in moscow” 😂
This was filmed late winter this year
@@Igorinrussia 😀😀😀 I was confused. Now I understand. I am in Moscow BTW. Interesting video
A song came to my mind called "tallahassee lassie" 😃🎶
My song in mind called "What are you dream about Aurora cruiser"
Epic!!
When was this video recorded? Right now we are in Winter, but I see snow in your video which has just been recommended today ?? So I guess it is old footage. RUclips and expats in Russia and satellites, have changed the understanding? I had of Russia previously. I now realise that my old understanding was the product of Western Propaganda. Thanks

Aurora is my favorite from ExpatAmerican, she and her little brother Maksim.
Wait, she's a daughter of that man from ExpatAmerican channel????
Странная фраза "Гораздо меньше бездомных.." - ? То есть, МНОГО, но МЕНЬШЕ - ? Где она их могла видеть? По каким подворотням у нас стоят километры палаток, возле которых валяются обдолбанные бездомные?

Aurora, what major are you taking in Moscow and how expensive is it to pay for school fees? How are Russia degrees compared to usa ?
Enjoy guys ✌️
The most frustrating part is that we aren't open about how 3rd world immigration has made Europe and America unsafe. Russia is a majority white country, of course it's safe. Its just like America was in the 1950s.
Young lady unless you are strong enough to carry one of those cops you talked about on your back they're not going to be of much use. That is why it is so important for people to be armed.

The capital of Florida is a small town?
It seems its 118 000 residents, so i have to say yes … but ofc comparing with what. This is from Msocow, so compared with moscow or saint petersburg , its a small district
Los Angeles population is 4 million. Los Angeles is a big city.
The population of Tallahassee is less than 200 thousand people. Tallahassee - so you can say that Tallahassee is not a small town, for example. Since the population there is more than 100 thousand people. 🤔🤔

Western propaganda
@@Igorinrussia It could also be a matter of different standards, but I personally think the stuff i've seen in Russia is really unkempt.
