He must have doctored the bills a little bit. It says play money on it and it doesn't have all the details. I don't understand how the bank wouldn't catch it right away.
Yes, Mary, exactly! Especially if their minimum wage - sorry - "prison wage" is thirteen cents a day. Okay Trusty Calculator: $387,500, right? Okay divide that by $0.13 and that = 2,980,769 days. 2,980,769 days divided by 365.25 days = 8,160 years. Yep, Mary Galaviz! What a JOKE 🤑
Not advocating this, but this was done on us Americans, except they used fake money to replace real money. They weren’t reprimanded for it either, oh the hypocrisy. Punish the little guy for the same crimes you committed!
And even more amazing they have calculated the $387,500 for those three years. Wait a minute! ...Isn't the Statutes of Limitations for counterfeiting - Three Years? IDK
@@jeromesmith9695 this is so ridiculous, that bank never caught it on after 3 yrs of deposits. Do banks get counterfeit that often, they couldn’t trace it back. I need more to this story to be objective.
@@maddieadams75 I, too, need more to this story. You are right, it is ridiculous for them letting this drag on for three years. Or Home Depot is pulling a publicity stunt to get attention.
He probably needed the base for something to look like bills, but I can guarantee you that he tweaked it a little bit. RUclips has a video on how to make play money look like real bills.
@@Dollieglitz Yes, but how does the bank not detect it right away? This doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Banks are gong to catch on especially with all of that cash involved. Those machines catch it.
It's a shame they put out there where he bought the money from I hope other people don't get the same idea! At the same time I know that's where the people that do the RUclips pranks that's where they get there from but still they just don't need to put all the details out..smh
Another thing is you can't just accuse somebody without evidence. They have to have substantial evidence to prosecute somebody like that. Because I have accidentally got a hold of a counterfeit bill before and accidentally passed it or tried to by me not knowing that it was a counterfeit. So it can happen to anybody but they had to have substantial evidence that he was trying to defraud the bank

I worked at this home depot. I know Adrian. That's freaking crazy! I never thought he would do that.
Did U know he was released on a OR bond?
People deemed psychopathic, not saying Adrian was because I'm not licensed, are adept at hiding their feelings.
@@gingerelvira6587 I guess the judge thought he would just use fake money anyway.

Counterfeit currency remains low for the US when compared to Asian nations ; however mostly foreign nationals have hand in production with locals !!
Secret service bust? That’s gonna hurt.
Any type of counterfeit case is handled by secret service.
wow crazy
They just release these guys, what's the point of even arresting them
3 Years WoW Unbelievable 😮😮😮
I just checked Amazon! Yes, they do sell fake cash 💵 that looks real! Omg! How is that legal? They’re calling it fake money for movies 🎥! Lmao 😂
Why is amazon selling anything that can be passed as real money?
Amazon doesn't sell their own products. They make nothing. But I agree they should have not be allowed to have it on their site.
@@crand20033 Thank you, David. Now it makes sense why Amazon sells their Amazon Prime.
They sell prop money for movie sets and it even says copy on it.
