BRAVO!!!! Another great vid. I am addicted to Ellie and Mac patterns I own 14 so far. thanks so much for sharing. I have been sewing for 40 years but still love to watch sewing videos. you are awesome to watch!
Thank you it looks so easy. I'm a visual learner so I love your videos. I've just bought this pattern on your sale, besides few others. Yours is lovely 😍
On to my second and third Lucky Girl top!! I found ironing/coverstitch the curve of the sleeves to be the hardest part of construction. I made the first one for my mom and she is over the moon with her top. Thank you!
I’m all proud of myself after hemming around the sleeves and ready to attach them to the bodice. I couldn’t figure out why I didn’t see a ‘wrong’ side of the sleeve like you warned about. Turns out I attached the two fronts and two back to each other and not front to back. 🤦🏻♀️
do you think rayon spandex would be better than cotton spandex to get the drape on the sleeves on the ties? however the banded I think would be better with cotton spandex? Opinions?
if I wanted to line them, I would create another piece out of the tie part of the sleeve and sew it on right sides together before attaching the sleeve. this method was not tested so I would do it on a scrap sleeve first and see how it works! good luck! can't wait to hear if it works for you!!
Margaret McArthur it really is up to you if you want to but just make sure you account for the fact that the shoulder seams are not the quarter points. You would have to measure you quarter from the shoulder seam. Does that make sense? 😉
Diana, I love your tutorials, but they would be so much more helpful if the camera was pointed at your table. We can't see anything you're doing, which is pretty frustrating. 😥
Diana! That particular shade of red on this dress looks fantastic on you!!! 👍👍👍🌺🌺🌺🌺

Lovely blouse! Would it be possible to line the tie portion so you didn’t see the underside of the ties when wearing?
if I wanted to line them, I would create another piece out of the tie part of the sleeve and sew it on right sides together before attaching the sleeve. this method was not tested so I would do it on a scrap sleeve first and see how it works! good luck! can't wait to hear if it works for you!!
Love your top. Is this the everyday tee?
You was wearing this beautiful shirt in another video.
Many Blessings. Muchas bendiciones yes, I do wear it often. I kind of really love it 🥰
What if you put the neck seam at the shoulder instead of middle back??

@@EllieandMacPatternsLLC Yes, best to leave as is, then.
