Where would you go if you had a boat??

Some water would be nice .
Sell it. I don't care for the water or boats
I really wanted to like this more than I did.
Aspects about it are great, but the childrens bedroom is horrible. It is like they are being put out of the way. The space could have been used so much better so that their children had a spece that they could grow into.
Lovely design except I'd have put the bathroom between the two bedrooms. Made the living space just a bit shorter and given the kids a bit more space. Suppose they don't intend to live on this very long though.
That’s a “no” from me on the layout. Just need to squeeze past dad on the toilet to get to the kitchen.
If nothing else they could have put the bathroom in the kids bedroom and made the doorway bigger. Not the best layout really, but it does look nice
Magnificent! Wonderful new home beautifully crafted.
Bedroom shenanigans is out then??
I wonder how long they could live with that arrangement?
I like the kids room....and i bet the kids just love the room
Might as well have put two mattresses in the bilges for the kids!
I hope you have a fantastic life in your boat!
Hello friends what a transformation on that boat I must say, congratulations👍💯
Thinki it's really beautiful x they did an amazing job x hope they are vet happy there x love an god bless x
I would have no trouble with the height I am only 5ft 2in . Wow 🤩 looks beautiful.
Beautiful, beautiful job.
Gorgeous boat
I would've done without a dedicated utility-room, after all, a washer-drier takes up only around one sq metre!
It acts as a wet room too.
@@Helloverlord
Again, a shower only takes one sq metre!
Once again, no privacy for parents
The parents have their own bedroom. Life changes once you become a parent.
I suppose it's best when they are little, but you are right. I personally would not like it. Once their kids get older, they will probably have to move too.
@@JulieWallis1963 You missed the point
Not keen on the layout. They’ve not thought about future use.
Terrible use of space. Could be so much more efficient
What is the maintenance cost. Think hull grinding/painting? how often?
Hull blacking every 3-4 years. 1500 quid, half that if you do it yourself.
hi, where i find a barge to buy?
How big a motor ? What is the range at cruising speed before refuel ,water, sewer, capacity?
What do they do for post?
Pigeons
Can you please let us know.
How much have they spent on it? How much did they buy it for?
One dollar!
How Much Did this Project Cost £1 / £1Million ?
A million?😂 Doubt it went over 30k
One pee!
@@Kevin-sm8pn and a lot of cash,lol
Couldn't they I don't know maybe instead of raising the roof lower the floor?
That would be a lot trickier. You'd need to add a lot of weight to keep the boat down, and that weight would itself take up space. Also, canals aren't that deep.
@@qwertyTRiG agreed, also it was for cargo, therefore low ceiling.....increase the height defo.way go
I envy them. had my chance fluffed it cant afford it now
Ohh that's too bad sorry
Had me at rotten hull...
Beautiful home but I would not live on the water with young children
I can't believe... really living in boat??
Ya I think their in London living in a home for freeeeee, lovely job
Lots of people live on boats, especially canal boats in the uk. If _they’re_ in london, it’s often all they can afford. Why do you struggle with the concept?
Not strictly free still pay a pricey mooring (if you can even get one) and other costs @@JulieWallis1963
Very poor access to kids room not very well thought out
Um that kid is going to hate living there when she hits 15. She has to go through her parents bedroom to go to the bathroom. Forget boyfriends coming over.
Just a matter of time they might move into a building and make this a vacation home.
Hits 15? Kids get bigger than that bedroom by the time they're 7. Forget social life, privacy etc.
They'll probably extend it, or sell it and work on a new one. They more than likely took their children's future into mind.
