I have always had this idea of Wally getting a mega tyranitar. Imagine if Wally decided to go to the jhoto region on Ruby’s recommendation and during his travels finds and catch’s a larvitar. And over time eventually evolves into a mega evolution compatible tyranitar.
@@ladonmccabe because on top of the fact that ruby and sapphire already have the mega stones for both gardevoir and gallade, manga wally has his own identity separate from his game aspect. He wasn’t handed a ralts on a silver platter but instead using Ruby’s ralts he had to capture his own Pokémon in kecleon. Instead of chasing after the protagonist wally went on his own journey for himself catching his own unique team with a green theming. And instead of spending an entire game getting beaten by the protagonist in the manga he becomes a major asset in saving hoenn by being the one responsible for waking up rayquaza. In fact I disliked the fact that in the ORAS arc wally was reset to factory standard in both appearance and Pokémon team. How badass would it have been during that arc if Wally with an upgraded respiratory suit saving ruby with the flygon Norman gave him.
All of these choices are amazing! I would replace Whitley's Audino for Slowbro. She's the "liberator" so she would unlock Shellder's potential as symbiotic unity.
Great video! I think my favourite duos were X & Lucario, Red & Aerodactyl and Green & Mawile. Also this my first introduction to Scarlet as I'm not totally caught up with Scarlet and Violet, and she seems like a really interesting character from the start, having a different air to her compared to the previous dex holders.

I also think that in the manga only Blaine can mega evolve mewtwo since they have a bond closer then anyone else as literal blood brothers. Also I think in the manga Blaine is the reason why mewtwo even has a second mega evolution. His special form represents mewtwos bond with mew while his physical form represents mewtwos bond with Blaine. One side a Pokémon the other a human. On this same spectrum If dexoys could perform mega evolution or some adaptive equivalent I bet only red can access this since one of the two deoxys’s giovanni constructed has reds DNA.

For me, it is possible to add Pokemon to both Sapphire and Silver's team, and that is by giving Silver Mega Hounddom, which is very similar to Silver's evil character, but at the same time he has loyalty to his trainer, and giving Sapphire Mega Garchomp because he is a better choice for Aggron in terms of battles
