Bailou's kit is kinda interesting since she's like half-preservation, preventing you from taking some damage and negating some of it immediately with the invigoration. It's just a shame she can't cleanse/prevent debuffs.
In a sense she's somewhat like Gepard then lmao
@@sneaky8718 depending on how strong Gepard's shield and how fast you can ult with him. If he solo sustain and his shield expired in an inconvenient time, you have no way to recover your HP so you will be forced to restart the fight.

i feel like everyone is always complaining about how bailu can't cleanse, but then they think that huo huo is mid at the same time

Ok so I just cleared it couple of hours ago. Depends really on Curios, Blessing and equations ofc, but stop using Ruan Mei and put Aventurine/Gallagher together with FF and HMC, and you will stomp on Sam because unlimited shield and HP gen (and Break ofc)
i think it's clear that he wanted to showcase bailu, not that it's actually impossible to beat.
I am happy to see others finally see Bailu in the light. Been using Bailu since day 1 and never pulled for any sustain because of her

Bailu is an excellent healer don't get me wrong, but that whole even Natasha has a cleanse thing going against her. I say this from not everyone has the main boss faceroll teams so cleanses do matter to them

@@owoflux6025 uhh yes 🤣 swarm bugs, Kafka, doomsday beast if you don't have a team capable of killing them fast enough cleanses can and do matter 🤔😁
I did this with Gallagher, without anyone dying so....... for Firefly team you really need the 3 star Abundance blessing which gives 30% healing of the original amount healed to the entire team. And yes this is on the highest difficulty level 6 thing.
Or you can just run bailu 🗿
She just needs to give more effect res or just cleanse in general and that would be enough for people to use her or make her cleanse herself of all effects like frozen or imaginary cc when teammates die so that she can revive them.
I say it, the day they release a LC that cleanses on heal she will become incredibly good.

Bailu was my first five star i wasn't really excited but i was glad i have a sustain at least after coming in late 1.5 she even still helped me against aventurine boss in penacony but after getting aventurine i benched her but i'll still remember how she carried me often with her clutch revive, i wish her heal skill wasn't rng or some sort of cleanse would've been nice but then no one else would've gotten another sustainer if she did
At best you can use bronya to cleanse for bailu but still depends on the enemy

Tbh if you get lucky and get certain preservation blessings and that Blast all healing effects to other allies can save you alot in this fight when your using a break team
I don't get how people struggle with fu xuan. Must be skill issue, build issue, or both.

Bailu has always been usable. You just have to be sure the enemy doesnt spam cc
I usually just use Destruction blessings for extra grit to sustain themselves
Bro is playing break team with Remembrance an Hunt as 3 star equation and saying why I am dying 🥴🥴. Try to get Destruction an Preservation on and run with Aventurine.
her ability to mitigate dmg (by healing the character back once hit) is pretty good tbh. too bad she doesn't have cleanse which is very important nowadays
Although I dropped her for Aventurine and Fu Xuan, Bailu definitely carried me early game when I first started playing
As a Day 1 player, i finally got her from losing a 50/50 during Jade's banner. Only Bronya is missing then ill have all the standard banner.

The silent hunter equation also doesn't really fit your team since its more for crit dps

Seriously girl lacks cleanse and people shit in her for over a year, even though plenty of bosses dont have significant CC.
Shes genuinely really good, and ive been trying to point out her strengths for ages.
Early in game not having cleanse was BIG issue, there is no way around it. And while it's no longer case (to degree), that stil doesn't make Bailu that great (in comparison) as expectation for sustain also went up sice. Heck, even Luocha is no longer considered adequate. Why would you use healer that just heal, if you can use healer that heals as much (or even more), generate ton of skill points, debuff enemies, break enemies and/or have bunch of FuA?
I wonder if there is possibility for some kind "revive" meta or maybe "stacking damage reduction" meta (as I don't think 10% on it's own is enough) in future with some synergistic harmony character or new Abudance LCs. Even if she is not bad per se, I think she would need somthing like that to be competitive when compared to such as Gallagher, Lingsha, Aventurine or Fu Xuan...

Bailu is specifically good against Sam because of the burnt skill points thing. This certainly does not make her the best sustain in the game. For example, right now in Apoc. Shadow, I'm getting destroyed by all the CC effects from Kafka and the DD Beast; Bailu is literally useless there.
Definitely one of bailu's shortcomings is the lack of utility she provides. She's no doubt one of the defensive sustains in the game but the lack of effect res or cleanse is what makes her different from others like lynx, gal (e2), huohuo, and aven/fuxuan. Imo if the resurrection thingie from her passive is changed to something like everytime an ally get cc'd she procs her invigoration and cleanses that ally. This way she got the shine she deserves

She’s still better than Gepard as a sustain. He has no cleanse/cc resistance either, shields not that good by today’s standards, and needs ERR and a lot of speed, reducing shield strength further and even then not the best uptime with refreshing shields. He needs his ult to do it too so if he gets ccd it’s over. Forget his self revive, he’s the LAST person on the team that would die!
It really feels “too close” way too often when using him. Aventurine also exists who has none of those issues and feels great to use. He does what Gepard does but better in every way. 100% Powercrept
At least Bailu can heal a lot and revive a teammate once so that makes her better than Gepard.

I feel like Huohuo would've done a much better job in this case (if he had her?) If he had 3 characters die, then it just means Bailu wasn't really doing her job as a healer good enough.

Theyd be dead during the 1st bar and only 2 revives. her auto heal is gonna be weakened bc of combustion which basically just makes you 1 sam turn away from dying regardless. Honestly the point of bailu is tank fatal hits which fails bc firefly basically triggered the blessing without recooperation after breaking sam.
At that point id take preservation blessings and a geppy.
@@spinylightgaming Her healing would be more than enough to not worry about dying and I say this from experiencing a similar thing against MoC Sam. No other sustain could do it, not even Fu Xuan but Huohuo could. Bailu heals so much less than her.

I have an e4s2 Bailu🥹😭Even though I haven't used her in a while, she always came in clutch during my first Divergent+6 fight.

No use in investing in her if you have Gallagher built. Gallagher has better value. DU6 is all about getting the right curios, equations and blessings. I already feel sad for people who're gonna build her after seeing this clip. I never saw my units with HP this low using Gallagher.
