Sruthi Sagar's flute playing style has so much emotion and bhavam/feel in it even when compared with other flute vidwans performing today who might opt to do more gimmiky things some times. There is a certain purity and pitch perfectness to his style of playing which definitely needs to be applauded!!
Tulasi Jagadjanani Duritaapa Haariniiii was spellbinding. Playing the gamakas as a flutist, specifically, for thyagaraja kritis seems very difficult. It was so melodious to listen!

Hi Dominic, I’ve heard the first 3 pieces so far. The first intro piece, called a varnam is in the raga Kambodhi. The second piece is Siddhivinayakam Anisham in raga Shanmukhapriya, composed by Mutthuswami Dikshitar. The third piece is Dudukugala in the Raga Gowla. The composer is Thyagaraja and it is one of his five Magnum Opus pieces.
