new "man knitter" here. the last thing i figured i'd ever give a shot some how entered my life. i was travelling in northern ontario last january...was way north of timmins and found myself stuck in a small town for 4 days because of really crappy weather. not much there though a local bar and a few patrons including a hard core knitter. so with a beer in one hand and a couple chop sticks in the other i got told how to knit...
I've been knitting since I was 18, although I'm 19 now, I'm still knitting to this day, in fact, I'm knitting a dress for at this very moment, it would be nice to meet other male knitters, but they can be hard to find because people think knitting is only for grannies or women, but it can be for any age and any gender. =)
Do you like to knit with natural fibres or do you use manmade fibres or does it not matter to you? I am a producer registered with the British Wool Board.
