I almost disregarded this show as casual generic moe bait. Then my friend suggested we at least give it a try. THANK GOD HE DID, this show is within my top 5 favorite list now! I almost made the same damn mistake with School Live, what with the 99% of that first episode! THANK GOD another friend told me to watch to the end, and not judge it within 10 minutes of the first episode! I need to stop judging anime by it's character design. This was beautiful!
Yeah this is good especially for history maniac for me. Especially the amount of the historical references. Damn. I regret that i don't watch this sooner. But i am glad that i watch this after i have deep knowledge of WW2.
I love this anime. When I was in the pandemic, I came across a video of the girls from Pravda singing Katyusha, and at first, I thought the idea of combining two such different themes was very stupid (I wasn't an otaku). How wrong I was when I gave it a chance. I enjoyed this anime, and I can say that there's a love I don't feel for other anime I've seen. The way they handle the tanks, the way they develop each character so they don't feel empty or just added, I watched the series and got excited, I watched the movie and cried. Now, with Das Finale 4 approaching, I can feel that excitement again, to know how this story will unfold. I just wish the Latin anime community knew more about this work of art. And THAT.. really is how it's done! If I didn't already know where the changeover was, I'd not be able to tell this wasn't done by the original producers. Kudos to Novmitsukiteru for a job well done!
Most of the anime like this I really enjoy, seeing cute girls working with machines and doing daily life without any violence make all the pressure of my life disappear.
