    Hi Al, I have been watching your channel for sometime now, from California. Born and raised in the UK ,last few years I lived in Yorkshire,a little village out side York,Upper Poppleton.Your adventures are very entertaining and I just love the mutt Blue,what a fantastic dog you have there. Thx so much for sharing your trips ,many of your adventures bring back memories for me as through the years living in UK I have been in and around many of the places you have been too. Thx again. Mike.

    Really enjoyed the video, great adventure, as a Londoner though I cant agree, people give up their seats all the time for people we know all our neighbours and bake things for each other, look after each others houses when on holiday, chat. Its no different. You see what you want to see. Ive been all over the world and people are basically just people. Anyway, all the best, looking forward to your next adventure!

    First pronunciation is correct for Friluft, and your Fjällräven is bang-on!
    Greetings from a Swedish fan who's the same height as you, the average Swedish man is 181cm so while there are a lot of tall Swedes, most are your height. :)
    Got a light-weight convenience hack for you when using an FRH to heat your food; bring a metal paper clip, it weighs basically nothing and will hold the bag closed for you, can also be used for a multitude of durable repairs of your equipment when needed.

    Good to see you out on the bike Al. Multi-day bikepacking is my thing, I absolutely love it. Packing the bike is an ever evolving thing though! I'm always changing at tweaking things. My advice for more storage would be too avoid fork bags, unless you really needed the extra space. They just add even more weight over the front end, which makes the bike even less nimble, and harder to lift over things. The best thing would be to ditch the bottles and get a large frame bag for the triangle. It keeps the weight central. Then use a bladder on your back. #no1youtuber

We are going there this Saturday for 5 nights. If you want a good ride, go from Richmond, to Reeth, up Tan Hill, then down to Kirby Stephen, Brough and then up and over past where Hanna Hawekswell used to live in to Middleton in Teesdale. Done it several times from Teeside and back, about 120 miles, a good ride, with plenty of challenging climbs !

    Enjoyed the video, I know it wouldn't be possible to take Blue when you're bike packing but I would imagine you miss him when he's not sharing your adventures

    Man you would be at home on the Mt Evans, Pike Peak, and Trail Ridge Rd here in the States.
    I won’t be riding anything up a mountain without HP so you’d be on your own.
    But you would be happy eh. So yeah.

    Al, there’s some friendly folk down south and some right miserable buggers up in Yorkshire…granted the % one way or another may vary a tad but it’s not all bad below the Watford Gap.

      Yes but this actually works well so you can actually use it in summer without the fly sheet. Maybe they should bring out a 4 season version 😉

      @@BUSHMANandBLUE Might be, just would prefer less fiddling around with inner&outer together pitch… Could you please make even a quick preview if not a review of this tent? I am interested in all it’s features, and your video is officially the only one of this tent in youtube at the moment..

    a bike...a tent...a dog (no blue) well 2 out of 3 is okay. oh and food do not forget the food, ummm. i ride to eat, i eat to ride. i love bikeing. adding camping is a full mans sole. (dog is always great) did i say food, ummm. you ride 10k or 100k you hurt in a good way and you relax because you worked to get to your spot which makes it better. and after riding a bike you sleep like a puppy. good vid. really enjoy your vids. ride the flats and flatten the hills.

    Does the door zip/toggle have the same nice feature on this one than what you have in abisko1, so that you can close the door halfway for protection from rain while cooking?

    • @BUSHMANandBLUE
      @BUSHMANandBLUE  7 месяцев назад

      I’ll look next time I use it. Once the zip is open you can roll back just one side if needed which I like. Great for cooking out of the wind
