Hi Al, I have been watching your channel for sometime now, from California. Born and raised in the UK ,last few years I lived in Yorkshire,a little village out side York,Upper Poppleton.Your adventures are very entertaining and I just love the mutt Blue, what a fantastic dog you have there. Thx so much for sharing your trips ,many of your adventures bring back memories for me as through the years living in UK I have been in and around many of the places you have been too. Thx again. Mike.
Beautiful wild landscape. A really smart looking tent and a gorgeous bike, the geezer on it is not too bad either lol. Thank you Alan for taking us there.
Londoner here. You’re right we are miserable down here but what do you expect?! We’re in a polluted concrete jungle! 😅 Anyways I’m always happy watching your vids 😁👍🏼
Nice you mixing it up Al. Yorkshire looks lovely. That bike was a steal and the tent looks proper, I've a soft spot for inner pitch tents. Many thanks for all your hardwork bring us these videos.
Brilliant video. Never been to Yorkshire. Felt like I was right there with you. Beautiful photography. Loved the villages, country roads, wide vistas, and amazing rock formations. And that trek up the hill. Major Respect! Thank you so much Al. A big hug to Blue too!
I've been laid up for a week so I've watched a bunch of your videos. The scenery is beyond words. I've been trying to teach our dog not to bark at everything that moves and I am so impressed by how good Blue behaves. Amazing, thank you so much.

First pronunciation is correct for Friluft, and your Fjällräven is bang-on! Greetings from a Swedish fan who's the same height as you, the average Swedish man is 181cm so while there are a lot of tall Swedes, most are your height. :) Got a light-weight convenience hack for you when using an FRH to heat your food; bring a metal paper clip, it weighs basically nothing and will hold the bag closed for you, can also be used for a multitude of durable repairs of your equipment when needed. Thanks for the great camping videos, i'm thoroughly enjoying them!
Nice to mix things up with the bike packing Al. Variety is the spice of life n all that 😊 Tent is like the big Agnes copper spur hv ul2. Perfect for fairer weather. Bike was a steal too! Hope you're well mate, Adge
It's a beautiful tent. Crazy price indeed, that's like $1000 bucks which is nuts! Great vid as usual! Pity not to see Blue, hopefully you get a dog cart :D
Good to see you out on the bike Al. Multi-day bikepacking is my thing, I absolutely love it. Packing the bike is an ever evolving thing though! I'm always changing at tweaking things. My advice for more storage would be too avoid fork bags, unless you really needed the extra space. They just add even more weight over the front end, which makes the bike even less nimble, and harder to lift over things. The best thing would be to ditch the bottles and get a large frame bag for the triangle. It keeps the weight central. Then use a bladder on your back. #no1youtuber
Loved the video Al as always. I have wild camped all over the place but not Yorkshire!! Can't really believe that but its on my list> Keep the videos coming
Another great vid Al. My nan was a Yorkshire woman, her and my grandad were raised in Embasy, before they moved down to Nottingham. My granddad's ashes are scattered up on Embasy Crag, I'll be up there in May to scatter my nans ashes so she'll be back with him.
