Writing Vlog | Day In My Life | Finding out about Trump's Failed Assassination

We are currently on a family vacation, and I managed to find some time to write.
It has been an interesting experience trying to juggle this holiday and my deadline. My short story, which I have temporarily referred to as #projectac, is going to be published in South Africa, and I am thrilled about it. However, it has made me realize that achieving what you want may not always be as easy as you initially thought.
Getting published involves a lot of work, and sometimes I almost regret submitting my work to magazines or calling for anthology submissions, because once I am accepted, the editing process can be quite daunting and anxiety-inducing. Nevertheless, I now understand my capabilities and how to care for myself throughout this process.
Working on this short story has been beneficial, as I took my time with each paragraph, enabling me to complete the second draft. However, it did cause some stress. Yesterday, which was Monday, I submitted our story to the editor, and now we are patiently waiting for their response. Interestingly, in the video, you will see my reaction upon finding out about the failed assassination attempt on Trump. My mind went into overdrive within minutes.
