High Tea Buffet was 2500/- per person including taxes. No, they don't take reservations, it's first come first serve basis. Just reach there by 3 to get your preferred table. Also note, they have semi formal dress code, so for guys specifically 1. no open footwear, i.e. wear shoes (sports/formal) and 2. no shorts. Hope this helps 🙂
Bday celebration matlab a full blown party? M not sure. Cake toh tha buffet mein lekin pura cake milega kya pata nahi. 022 6665 3366 yeh google se liya number hai Taj ka, unko Sea Lounge se connect karne bolo. Unse pooch sakte ho woh bata denge.

I understand that table reservation is not allowed for the afternoon tea buffet, so in your experience, reaching at 3 PM is okay, or should one plan for even earlier? Particularly when everyone would we wishing for a table near the windows to enjoy the gateway view.
Ah... it's a bit tricky to answer 🙂. It all depends on luck. We arrived at 3-3:10 and there were couple of window tables vacant. Unfortunately we were 4 adults and these window tables are small, only 2 adults can sit comfortably. There's another section with couple of 4 seaters near the window but the section is non ac. Anyhow, the window tables are limited so that is upto luck. 🙂

Though it's surprising to hear about a non AC area at Taj, perhaps due to some structural limitations as it's a heritage hotel. We hope to get a table and wish the non-AC is not too hot, if we are left with no other choice 😀.
@poojadesi1106 I visited last year, about the time when I posted this question/comment first. It was 2500 + GST then. At Taj Falaknuma Hyderabad, it 5K + GST; and you have to pay about 50% upfront.
As per the info they gave me last time, they don't offer online booking. You can google and call on the number that appears, ask them to connect to Sea lounge, you can check with them in case anything has changed.
Girls can wear indian, western... just don't go too casual like night suit kind of outfits. Footwear also don't wear flip-flops, chappals etc. But you can wear open sandals, shoes etc.
