I've caught a lot of redfish from a kayak most of them in under 2ft of water! That's completely opposite from what I've always thought. Have definitely learned a thing or two from your videos. lol 'everyone backlashes' haha even with a curado dc i had backlashes and saw my favourite lure fly towards the horizon never to return.... those fish were speeding right next to you haha pretty epic though a saltwater fish smashing a rat lure haha
Coop you can attach a long rubber band to the rope and to your self so that you only feel a small weight of the skiff/boat, you'll need a big rubber band that can withstand the tug. Try it please
Lol I tie my yak to myself as well, it's very light so the wind will push it away and no way I'm bringing an anchor with me having to paddle with that extra weight
The red you lost the rat lure on when you were horsing it in had way to much pressure that's why it pop. It's not trying to get the fish in asap lol it ain't bass fishing. I know from losing big peacock bass, as long as your drag is set you chilling. We learn from are mistakes nice video bro.

That reel sounds cheap LOL Get u a Shimano DC that has a drag clicker. It sound so good when casting and when the fish takes drag. It will sound good in the vids IMO
Bro, I wish people could use the slot limit on fish themselves and not need to be made to. If people could get over the bs of trophy size and think dinner size, most fish would be as successful as slot regulated species.
