Preparing a Floor for a Bathtub Installation

In concrete we call those grade pins and I was thinking that for this but I'm really glad to see it verified ss I'm not a tub installer so thanks for the tips bud, the channel looks really well done too by the way.

Takes a little getting used to. Definitely want to make sure its well mixed and proper water ratio. My first pour, i was surprised to discover a big clump of thick floor leveler at the bottom of the bucket, despite vigorously mixing. It turned out fine, just a few hairline cracks. Second pour was a little better, though there were a couple of chalky spots. Third pour was perhaps handled on the floor too long, a couple of dips.
