    We agree, Alissia! Pecans would certainly look very cool as well. Cashews would also work nicely :)

    Thank you for your question. We'd recommend skipping almond extract and using another teaspoon of vanilla extract instead. You can certainly use sliced almonds instead of whole. Enjoy!

    Thank you for your question, Lunita. You can bake these fingers without almond extract - just use extra vanilla extract instead :) Happy Halloween!

    what can i use as substitute for eggs?

    • @allrecipes
      @allrecipes  9 лет назад

      Here are options to replace the eggs in this recipe, mruga thakar.
      -- ¼ cup silken tofu = 1 egg-- ¼ cup soy yogurt = 1 egg-- 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds plus 3 tablespoons water = 1 egg-- Pureed bananas, apple or any high pectin fruit; ¼ cup = 1 egg-- Commercial prepared egg substitute
      If you'd like more information about egg substitutes, here's an article to help: dish.allrecipes.com/egg-substitute-for-baking/

    I've been trying to find the perfect recipe that won't bubble out too much. It seems that chilling the dough before baking and the amount of baking powder is key. What would happen I added less baking powder to this recipie?

    • @allrecipes
      @allrecipes  9 лет назад

      Excellent question, mealexandra. Baking powder is critical to most baked goods. (Always check before using to make sure the expiration date hasn't passed.) We read in the reviews that some cooks have cut down on the amount of baking powder, so you could certainly try this. The real key will be to keep the dough chilled and to not make the "fingers" too thick.
