Good morning Pete! Well, I have several fig trees that have been planted in the ground and some of the same figs in 25 gallon containers. I have found that sometimes fig trees in the ground taste better than fig trees in containers. They tend to ripen quicker. Also, the age of the tree sometimes has an effect on the fig taste. I'm sure it may be a nutrient thing, but not sure of a remedy. Also, you were going to explain what an FMD fig is (I'm not talking Fig Mosaic Virus). Thanks for your videos. Hope you put some of your varieties up on figbid.
Yeah in-ground growing definitely has some advantages. Due to my space issues it really isn’t an option for me. What do you mean by FMD? Did I say that in one of my videos? I might have meant Figues du Monde (FDM).
Great reviews. Very informative. Thanks! I am glad that you like Blue Princess. I have this variety, too. Just want to add some information: I was able to harvest two brebas earlier this year and they were good. This one seems to be rain resistant.
Good video Pete👍 keep cranking them out
Good video Pete, pretty curious about the last 10! Always good info! Thanks

That’s good to hear. I agree about the rain resistance. It seems to have a tight eye and I didn’t notice any splitting issues.
