    great video how do you test the thermostat to make sure it works?

    • @How-to-repair
      @How-to-repair  Год назад +1

      The electricity will go through the thermostat to the element until it gets to a temperature. You can always test thermostats by making sure that it cuts out at say 60°. Then there should be no power going to the element after 60°. @stephenhart6158 please remember to subscribe to our channel as that really helps us ruclips.net/user/shortse432SAb2g08 Thanks, Paul 👍

      There are so many variations of these. I cannot really be honest with you and give you a direct answer.

    And the heating element could be produced with BETTER QUALITY.
    I've never encountered a failing heating element in tens of failing 1.8 Liter electric kettles!

    Off topic here, mate, but I was wondering if you knew of any brands of electric cookers that have gradual settings for cooking? For example, my old 'Beko' has 6 settings and that's it, so trying to control the heat as I cook anything is tricky at best.

      I've been saying this for years manufacturers now, are just becoming too greedy and they are losing their customer loyalty because of it
