To get the dip like that on back smiths I ollie, then dip the front of my board doing like a nollie back shuv kind of motion first, then il apply pressure to the back foot just as I land on the ledge or just prior to it. So basically I just delay the input on my backfoot. It works really well on down ledges, straight ledges get hung up a bunch. Hope that helps !
