Dude, you obviously don't know what you are talking about most of the time. Calling a vessel a tanker while it is a bulk carrier. Stating it are huge waves while it's just a small boat in moderate seas. Naming a offshore structure an oilrig while it's not and tons of other mistakes. Very irritating.

Obviously? It's a channel about video compilation, not a sea channel, idk what you expected

His very first video showed he didn’t know what he was talking about, he stated waves tore the ship in half when in fact it was the rocks that actually tore the ship in half and he made the same statement further on in this compilation

I totally agreed. I am a former seamen of the 7 seas, and this presenter has not a clue about anything maritime! It's so bad I cringe!

Rule #1 TURN YOU BOW INTO THE WAVES! And never take them broadside.

The collision at 19:10 came about because the people in the Prince Walid were too arrogant, too much steeped in entitlement obsession that they would not steer away from the big ship. They expected the big ship to steer away from thém. This is their culture. It is a collision caused by cultural attitudes about classes of people. I think it is the most interesting piece of video.

Those boat crashes were shocking. How often do you witness incidents like these?

You have to take waves on at a slight angle, whether it's a rowboat or a supertanker, taking waves sideways will cause trouble in any craft.

went to the Med twice once on a cruiser once on a destroyer crossing north seems to be a mistake. Both times ran into storms where the main deck was off limits.

5:11 Certainly, a rum on the rocks, without salt. 5:32 A large boat exclaims, "I'm scared," while a small boat responds, "I'll save you." 13:11 Is that something they would do off the shores of Portugal? 16:09 That's where my toy boat went too! "Oh!" Mommy, I need a hug.

It's NOT the waves that split the ship in half...
It was SLAM on the "ROCKS" by the waves.

Put in my 15 years in SE Alaska working for a very big Seafood processing Co back in the 80's & 90's. A bunch of those "Deadliest Catch" vessels sold Crab & Bottom fish to us because we treated them w/ the respect they deserved. I worked as a Millwright most of the time (on shore), but was called out to their company Tenders, Buying Stations and "Highliner" fishermen's vessels often because I was a certed Commercial Diver. Mostly recovery or Inspection dives or cutting netting & line from a big screw (prop). It got kind of Knarly at times but the money was good.
I called these Highliner Captains "Water Cowboys" because they risk their lives to "Get er Done" ! That said, it's Amazing how the Ocean can make even the largest ships feel Tiny. I know many who came close to losing it all and some that did. Never turn your back on the Ocean.
