Got a ps5 the day before yesterday. There is a huge gameplay difference between the old generation and the new generation of this game.
On one hand, I feel like the new gen version is more automatic....... meaning players track runs without you having to switch etc. Also the attacking AI is slightly better......
The cons of the new gen are so much more than the old gen. I must say that obviously graphics wise the new gen is superior and the menus are much smoother the dynamics on the cards are not everywhere.
The cons of the old gen : the players do everything slower, from moving to turning to passing everything is delayed compared to the old gen. The feel of the game itself is trash, I hate that clunky feel to all the players and the 3 seconds it takes every player to trap and pass. Bcuz of this, on the new gen technical is completely overpowered.
The new gen the players do not follow instructions and I saw this with my brother in real time. The instruction on my striker is drift wide and get in behind and they just stood there not moving at all.
Animations seemed forced on the new gen. Contextual animations are nowhere to be seen, it seems as if players just do random animations even when it makes no sense.
Overall, the gameplay in the old gen is far superior than the new gen
