Do you still use this? I’m trying to find buckles and they don’t make that kit anymore… I guess you had to replace the ones on the bottom too? So 2 on the top, 2 on each side, and 2 on the bottom? Thanks for the vid!
It wasn't many, I believe about 4 female buckles and 4 male buckles, give or take a couple. Will have to double check. If you purchase the time machine buckle kit from Mystery Ranch it should take care of it.
@@fulltangtactical Great info. Thanks for the walkthrough video. I think you meant the Back to the Future buckle kit, right? The time machine buckle kit has the same buckles as the Pintler.
@@rifleman128 Yes sir! Thanks for the correction. I also purchased a couple more from a separate vendor for the extra straps, I think there were 2 extra straps that needed buckle swaps.

optics planet now sells a model of the frame for a pretty decent deal (144 black, 198 coyote) and it comes with the new buckles
How many buckles did you have to replace? Ho many sets or male/female? Thanks

I bet if you just got a previous generation Pintler it would go right on. For the guidelite frame.
