Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so weinen müssen
    Wunderschön und schrecklich zugleich

    Sleep my little one
    Close your bright eyes
Mother is singing a lullaby for you
    The night is quiet
    The stars are twinkling
Sleep, my little one, quietly sleep
The moon has risen and it shines for you
    It illuminates the whole world
    A dream is approaching
    And it’s coming soon
Sleep, my little one, quietly sleep
