The majority of overworld stuff can be dealt with by DMC (obtainable right after Prologue) and free Collei. My little experiment involving Barbara skill + Kuki (lv20 skill) + Kirara cat mode skill literally put my struggling (with bad artifact drop) Crit dependent team into shambles. It saved my account after I got baited into ascending too fast. Now if someone doesn't want to stick with these, the HB team could be used to gear up their favorite team and abandon the HB team later on.
Hyperbloom has always been my favorite dendro reaction. I don't use it too much anymore because I used it so much during Sumeru. Also, trying different comps. But I'll break it out once in a while, like in the most recent Abyss cycle.
There are a few more things to note about building a Hyperbloom team. Equally as important as the relics, it is important for players to get their electro trigger to level 90. This is because the transformative reaction base damage scales of levels and not stats. When it comes to electro triggers, there are some caveats. Usually, the best triggers are Kuki Shinobu and Raiden because their trigger is AOE and off field. Next would be characters like Razor or Cyno, where they are able to apply Electro quickly and in a large AOE but they have to be on field. Yae works on field as well but it's not recommended due to low electro application for the duration she is on field. Characters like Fischl do not work as triggers. For Fischl, Oz targets enemies, and the movement of the Electro ball is not consistent and it's very hard to trigger Hyperbloom. Also, if one finds it hard to slot in a 4th teammate due to needing other characters on the other side, one can try using a cryo character. The interaction between Hydro, Dendro and Cryo is referred to as fridge, and the whole interaction is called hyperfridge. This interaction is good for Hyperbloom is because not only can it freeze enemies, it can also generate more bloom cores (this is due to EGT, elemental gauge theory, which I will not explain). Some one like Kaeya or Layla works great, while Rosaria may have some Circle impact issue.
My favorite way to play Hyperbloom now is Raiden, Furina, Yaoyao, and Kuki. Rotation is super easy, every single character on the team is auto-attacking all the time, NO AIMING IS NECESSARY, TWO healers for Furina, and everyone charges up for Raiden to slice everything to smithereens. Nobody dies, happy days.
Ye but... Hyperbloom? It kinda fell off in terms of DPS correct me if I'm wrong but I felt difference of power in terms of this team to the current teams I'm using and I'm F2P
Yes I agree with you. Hyperbloom only good in term of low investment require so it a solid choice for early game. But it biggest downside is there are only 2 dendro core that can be trigger to Hyperbloom at once. That mean the least of dendro core you trigger along with that electro proc will be wasted for 0 DMG. So in late game content it will be better to upgrade your Hyperbloom to Quickbloom team (Quicken / Aggravate + Hyperbloom) in my opinion.
It's quite OP and way too cheap for players struggling with both skill and artifact drops. Just EM drops for the electro trigger is a huge upgrade over CV dependent team comps. It's like cutting butter with Mavuika's sword for newbies. It's also not strict when it comes to rotations and you just fire at will. And bloom teams aren't worth it without Nilou imo.
Yes hyperbloom is good for early game then get better DPS to build your powerful team later. Arlecchino on next banner is good DPS for new player so you could get her if you like her playstyle there will be character try out when her banner come.
@@god_kurama If your goal is to build 2nd team for clearing Abyss the low investment Hyperbloom team could do up to 11th floor full star but on 12th floor you need high DPS Hydro / Dendro to make Hyperbloom team be able to clear the floor in time. Like in this video Yelan + Xingqiu(probably c6) damage is more like half of team damage. I think with your owned character you can make better team than low budget Hyperbloom team.
@@GravityBlood yeah you're right we need stonger charcters nahida c6 xinqui Or yealen I'm thinking to make clorinde team. Now I will build my yao yao Yao yao clorinde fishl xilonen
My Barbara can deal hydro damage to it and the blooms fall to the ground. Kuki can launch them but not sure about Raiden. Her skill might miss blooms if the enemy is tall or flying. And it also doesn't work on enemies that have shields.
The fourth slot on hyperbloom is very flexible. You could bring another bow user to do charged shots at the wings to take down the drake. I used Fischl because I needed Yelan on the other side. Note: Fischl doesn't steal the hyperblooms, so you don't need to build her full EM
Yeah unfortunately for raiden all the blooms stay below and doesn't get triggered. I don't have kuki so I guess I'll try to see if i can clear it with fischl like @mathpi2211 suggested. Don't know if i can clear it, I do have skill issue 😆
@@eziotoret The issue with Tighnari is that he's a charged attack user, while Xingqiu needs normal attacks for his hydro application. Apart from shooting down the drake Tighnari will only give you dendro resonance and the occasional burst. I think Collei would help more, but I haven't really played her. Or you just run Tighnari anyway and run a 3 character team with an occasional Tighnari burst if needed. I haven't built Tighnari yet, so I can't test this team for myself
I will always love how Kuki was a sleeper hit in the game. Dendro came along and she ninja'd her way to the top just as intended.
That team falls apart the moment you don't have nahida, any other dendro applier just doesn't apply enough, talking from experience.

Nah Tigy carried my team until i got the radish
@MrJemoederopeenstokj tighnari definitely doesn't for on that team, you need to normal attack constantly to apply hydro.
@jiffonbuffo overworld is a non factor, you can clear overworked with razor, solo. And you're not beating abyss with abrbaea and kirara.
Hyperbloom has always been my favorite dendro reaction. I don't use it too much anymore because I used it so much during Sumeru. Also, trying different comps. But I'll break it out once in a while, like in the most recent Abyss cycle.
It's so fun and powerful compared to how easy it is to build.
hyperbloom still goes crazy..the only way i could 36 star this abyss
working on this team now
Very late to the party
I mean I've been absent from the party so this is better than nothing.
@@bluetorx why is hyperbloom late to the party?
@@boyjantan9337 I think he mean Hyperbloom is not meta anymore but I think it still doing fine for low investment / budget team for casual player.
I wish this was out when I first started playing, such a good vídeo, very easy to understand
Thank you!

My fav go-to team for pretty much everything but with Furhrerina instead of XQ. Mostly for practical overworld reasons and personal pref.
Full Healer Hyperbloom - Koko/Barbara (driver), Baizhu, YaoYao, Kuki

Next time you have a chance, get Baizhu, he's pretty much my permanent Furina healer because his skill healing is so good.
It’s 2025 and I still don’t have kuki 😭
Same here lol
It's fine if you have Nahida.
@@GravityBlood I think you mean raiden lol
@@eziotoret no I really mean Nahida cuz her enable you to replace many Electro in place of Kuki.
Best of luck buddy. Shinobu Supremacy!
Got these 4 characters but the problem is kuki dies most of the time for some reason she is c0
Just gotta dodge big hits like the Shinobi she is 😎
Have you tried wuwa?
The only 2 hiperboom tragger that I approve is raiden & Kuki. the rest still good but not the best.
amazing vid tnx
Np, gl with your team 😎
