I usually have more than 150mbps. All of my devices register this speed except my macbook pro. I tried adding both of the IP addresses as you mentioned, but it made the internet on my Mac even slower. I removed 8.8.8.8 and left only 8.8.4.4, and it's now faster than before but still not closer to my original internet speed and bandwidth.
The discrepancy in data usage between Guest Mode and your account suggests that there might be limitations imposed on your account. Here are some possible explanations: * ISP Limitations: Your internet service provider (ISP) might have data caps or speed limitations associated with your plan. Contact your ISP to inquire about any restrictions on your account. * Account Configuration: There might be bandwidth restrictions or parental controls enabled on your account that are throttling your internet speed. Check your account settings for any such limitations. * Background Applications: Some applications might continue running background processes even when not actively used, consuming data in the background. * Automatic Updates: Applications set to update automatically can use data in the background. * Cloud Storage: Uploading or downloading files to cloud storage services can significantly impact data usage. Let me know if this helps.
@@EasyGuide22 Thank you for the response! I have tried and no changes to the speed. Speedtest is showing 4 mgb. I have Zipply Fiber and I will need to call them. When I watch YT, the video buffers on HD settings. Oddly enough, I have an Android devices and Windows laptop that is not affected by this.
@@stephnicaise it is not that it is necessarily bad. I do think it is totally false. Changing your MTU to 1453 is not going to change your Internet connection speed by 200x. If it really did, then something is very broken somewhere. MTU is a max and a smaller value actually hurt speeds if nothing else is broken.
MTU is optimized by default and if you optimize it to a good researched number it will increase the WiFi speed but incorrect MTU number will lead to further connection issues.
spiking 1000's ping to an average of 43 really works
No difference to the standard settings. unfortunately
Worked, thank you!
IT WORKS, thanks!!
I had 5MB/s now i have 600MB/s thank you so much

Dear, just follow the steps and you can change it to 1500
The same thing happened to me and after a few reboots, it fixed it
It works but not that good on me i get only 1MB/s more than before this
Is it recommended for office laptops?
@@MeJaySingh No
thank you my ping went from 150 to 60-70
When I use Guest Mode, I can reach up to 400 + mgb, but when I am logged in to my account, I can only get 3-15 mgb. Any suggestions?

Can you explain why this is bad?
No worries, this won't involve any scams or downloads. It's just about adjusting some settings to optimize your WiFi signal.
