As literally everyone else in the comments have said, i see this more as an exploitthan a glitch. And i myself use this tech frequently, espesially for stablized turrets. And i mean, who am i to let down traditions?
You dont have to use and gates, any gate would work for this purpose. Personally i usually use or gates for things like this since if you try to connect something else to them too the or gate wont do funny stuff with the multiple inputs it would be getting. Also this isnt actually a glitch, if you look at the description of the gyro it says that it resist rotation. This resistance just gets stronger the higher you put the power.
where do i find the gyro? i have all the dlc, ive found 164/164 items but i cannot find gyro and all of the workshop vehicles seem to use gyros!!! what am i missing?

It is in the category with the gears ⚙️ on it. I believe it is the third or fourth spot.
