It looked like everyone had fun with this. Sofia was an amazingly good teacher too. Every time I hear her sing " I wanna be a cowboy's sweetheart" her English and delivery is better. We are watching a young star grow right before our eyes. Great job, Sofia.
I appreciate the heart from Sofia. I'm sure someone else is posting the hearts for her because a 12-year-old girl should be busy with her school work and shouldn't be reading peoples comments. I hope her mom and those around her will continue to monitor and guide her on a path to success while letting her be a normal kid who enjoys a balanced life. No one loves her more than her mom and she will always be her best friend.
It stopped when they took "western" out of "country and western" music. This is a classic song born out of the Old American West with its yodeling beginnings coming from European immigrants.
I do not understand how yodeling can lift the heart but it does. Watching Sofia's performances is like the man says in the video, "as good as happy medicine". Sing Sophia, sing for the world until all can smile for a moment anyway as they hear your wonderful yodeling.
I find it is also true of tap dancing. Some things were simply MEANT to do with a smile, to the point they are almost impossible to do at all without one...
