People tend to really underestimate how powerful mario is. Sure Sonic slayed gods, and Gone at high speeds but for mario. Mario has escaped black holes, tanked supernova attacks from grand star bowser, even escaped hell in the mangas. Mario’s power up, The Hyper Cape Transformation makes him 97.6% invincible. While Sonic fought against a god, Mario fought dreamy bowser, bowser who consumed the dream stone which contained hundreds and thousands of universes or “dreams”, so mario was essentially fighting a multiversal being, and since sonic (archie) has no canon, technically the pure hearts would be considered part of mario’s arsenal of powerups since paper mario and mario exist in the same universe as shown in mario and luigi paper jam meaning mario pure hearts has infinite speed and multiversal power enough to rival archie sonic. And plus, mario is more experienced. So, My final Answer is: *Mario FTW.*
yeah but i think the pure of hearts is only for paper mario since he's the only one who actually used it and i don't think that mario even knows that the pure of hearts exist
